    West Ham 1-1 Aston Villa

That's just the second Premier League goal of the season for Nicolo Zaniolo. He hasn't featured as much as he would probably have liked but that's a big goal.

This is a brilliant Aston Villa goal. It starts with the goalkeeper. Nicolo Zaniolo times his run to perfection.

  3. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March

    Nicolo Zaniolo (79 mins)

It had certainly been coming! Villa are level thanks to two substitutes as Moussa Diaby does well to get to the byline and cut the ball back, Nicolo Zaniolo drives in from the left and fires through the legs of goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

    Deserved.

Given what Villa fans were saying on here last night, we're loving this. Sincerely, all Spurs fans.

So much pace from Matty Cash, he breaks past two defenders and puts in a good cross which Ben Johnson does well to chest back to his keeper under pressure. Can Villa make this pressure count?

Villa need to keep doing what they're doing and applying that pressure. West Ham look like they're tired and sitting deeper.

Ezri Konsa was munched by Ben Johnson as he tried to block that shot and the defender is limping away in pain. I think he just kicked the studs of Johnson's foot and will be OK.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 75 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Aston Villa

Real chance! Villa recycle a corner well, Leon Bailey does superbly on the right to break a tackle and put in a low cross which flashes through the goalmouth.

It comes to Ezri Konsa who takes a touch and then fires in left-footed, it's well saved by Alphonse Areola.

It wasn't exactly like-for-like, no. Ben Johnson is playing on the right in front of Vlad Coufal. Every West Ham player is back within 30 yards of their goal though as Villa pile on the pressure.

This substitution of Antonio for Johnson epitomises why so many West Ham fans have doubts about Moyes!

Lucas Paqueta lines the free-kick up, it pings off the wall and is heading in until Emi Martinez flies to his right and pushes clear.

Mohammed Kudus lashes a shot over from the follwing corner.

    West Ham 1-0 Aston Villa

It's been all Villa for a while but Mohammed Kudus breaks from halfway, he can be a goal threat from anywhere as we saw in midweek. Youri Tielemans doesn't want to see what he can do and pulls him back, taking a booking.

The battle between last season's Europa Conference League winners and this season's winners. Both managers deserve enormous credit for how they have turned round their respective clubs.

Maybe West Ham's energy levels have dropped now from what we saw in the first half. Villa are looking dangerous.

Ahhh just a touch too much! Matty Cash arrives late in the area, he could hit it first time but takes a touch, looks for a pass which isn't there and his shot is eventually charged down.

Youri Tielemans then has a long-range drive pushed away by Alphonse Areola. Hammers under siege!

Nine points behind at the moment having played a game more - quite possibly Kris.

That's close again though, a cross/shot from the left from Lucas Digne is on target and Alphonse Areola has to scramble to claw it out.

A change that tells you how the last few minutes have gone - scorer Michail Antonio is off with full-back Ben Johnson on for the Hammers.

They do, putting together some superb one-touch stuff down their left to go from one end to the other. Leon Bailey then slashes a shot wildly over the top.
