  1. Don't forget Sportscene

We'll be back tomorrow for Rangers' visit to Dens Park. The visitors need to win that one to return to top spot.

The goals were flying in today, with 18 across five top flight matches.

You can catch them all, along with analysis on Sportscene. (BBC Scotland, 19:30 GMT).

    Cheers for now.

  2. 'It's getting silly now' - Kettlewell fumes over VAR

    FT: Motherwell 0-1 Aberdeen

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "I did think we were due something in the game. I'm not saying we were miles better and should've won, but I think it descends into a little bit of a farce when you see the incidents.

"I said to the players we take ownership for our performance, but that doesn't stop me from looking at some of the incidents in this game and how silly this is all becoming.

"We had an incident earlier in the season against Ross County. We were told unequivocally at that point because it wasn't the guy who scored the goal who handballed it, that stands and that counts.

"I would love someone to tell me what the difference is today. We're not getting any level of consistency (with VAR).

"That brings me to the last incident of the game. Graeme Shinnie's arm is outstretched from his body, quite clearly hits it. You're seeing those given as penalties every week. Do I think it's harsh? 100%. But that's what's been given as a penalty consistently."

  3. Cowie hails 'massive three points'

    FT: Ross County 2-1 Hearts

Ross County interim manager Don Cowie tells BBC Scotland: "It's a massive three points for us. Hearts are a very good team and I said we'd have to be very good. I thought we were very good.

"I was disappointed for the group they didn't manage to get the clean sheet.

"It was more evidence of how important our captain is, Jack Baldwin. I thought he was excellent."

On double goalscorer Simon Murray, he adds: "The enthusiasm he's got the game is a bundle of energy. Sometimes his teammates don't know what he's going to do. I think that's his biggest strength, he's unpredictable."

  4. Montgomery hails 'team performance'

    FT: Hibernian 3-0 Livingston

Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery tells BBC Scotland: "It was a really professional performance. We were expected to beat a Livingston team who gave Celtic a great game last week and are fighting for their lives.

"It was a team performance and puts us into the international break on the back of six league games undefeated. It gives us two weeks to get a few boys back from injury.

"Adam Le Fondre was outstanding, his movement, he led the line really well. It’s hard not to give credit to everyone."

  5. St Johnstone 'couldn't string passes together'

    FT: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein tells BBC Scotland: "Some good things and some not so good things. Break it down to in possession and out of possession - quite a stark difference in the level of success.

"Defensively, we restricted Celtic pretty much in the first half. With the ball, we just couldn't string two or three passes together. That then brings even more pressure on your defenders, it brings more pressure on your midfield players.

"We were too hurried. You need to be calm when you get the ball. They fought all the way to the end, put a real shift in. The substitutes were really good."

Levein added Sven Sprangler, who went off in the first half, has "opened up his medial ligament" and will be sent for a scan.

  6. 'We might have been lucky to get out with five'

    FT: Kilmarnock 5-2 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Sportsound: "Hard to explain. We had a perfect first half and everything good we did first half, we didn't do in the second.

"They score three goals in nearly five minutes. We didn't do the simple things well, we didn't win first contacts. The front two bullied us for that 18 minutes when they scored the goals.

"We didn't deal with it in any shape or form. We showed a lot of inexperience. A lot went against us, we have to hold our hands up and say we got bullied. We might have been lucky to get out with five.

"It's very difficult for me to criticise the players. They were fantastic in the first half, but we didn't get hold of the ball in the second half and we didn't have any ownership of the game.

"That 18 minutes wasn't like us."

  7. 'Really professional job' from Celtic

    FT: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Sportsound: "Very pleased. Very good performance. Scored three goals, could've had more. Overall, really, really pleased.

"Good penetration, Really good first goal. Second one [Kuhn] has to make up a lot of ground after our pressing and great ball by [Kyogo]. Jamesy [Forrest] gets the third one. Really professional job, good focus.

"It's never easy against a 5-4-1 and the players dealt with the tactical aspect.

"Fingers crossed, the players come back after the international break all well. Hopefully, we are getting the squad together at the right time."

  8. Kilmarnock 'don't know they're beat' - McInnes

    FT: Kilmarnock 5-2 St Mirren

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells Sportsound: "Superb. A proper man's performance second half. We finished the first half doing more of what I asked us to do. But any time you lose two poor goals from set-plays, it can knock the stuffing out of you. It affected us, first half.

"We wanted to play around their shape but we needed to be braver and more intelligent with our work. We spoke at half time about what we expected of ourselves, and to a man everyone was outstanding.

"Watson's goal was the pick. It was outstanding, and a top performance from a group of lads who don't know they're beat. We are so motivated to do well and that was a huge step towards the top six.

"Sometimes you need half-time, to give them a gentle reminder of what's required. Some players needed woken up, reminded why they were in the team, reminded of their responsibilities.

"It's easy for me and my staff to point things out, but the players are the ones who go over the line and get the job done.

"Once we got one, I thought we'd get two. Once we got two, I thought we'd get three. To get five is fantastic."

  9. County close in on Saints

    FT: Ross County 2-1 Hearts

Ross County survived the play-off in dramatic fashion last season and will be keen to avoid that experience again. The Highlanders have taken a handy four points from the Edinburgh teams this week.

They go to Pittodrie after the international break.

  10. 'It's horrible down there'

    FT: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone

    Billy Dodds

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

This was a game St Johnstone would expect to lose, but Ross County and Aberdeen winning piles on pressure.

You can see St Johnstone have got a bit about them.

It's not nice for the teams in it, but the fight to avoid the play-off is brilliant for us looking in.

I think it will be so close and it's horrible down there.

  11. 'Aberdeen needed this'

    FT: Motherwell 0-1 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller

Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

Aberdeen were quite comfortable defending and Kelle Roos made three or four good saves.

They needed this and they handled it very well.

  12. 'Celtic movement really good'

    FT: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone

    Pat Bonner

Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

The Celtic movement was really good, runs in behind, shots on target. It took a while to get going but thereafter they pummelled St Johnstone's goal and could have scored a lot more.

The intensity was there, on and off the ball.

  13. 'Things starting to come together for Hibs'

    FT: Hibernian 3-0 Livingston

    Michael Stewart

Former Scotland international on BBC Sportsound

You can see that things are starting to come together for Hibs.

Nick Montgomery inherited a squad that wasn't good enough. A lot of money had been spent but it was imbalanced.

January recruitment was good and having an extra body in midfield has helped.

It's early days but there is a free-flowing style. They need find a way of getting into the top six and finding consistency.

  14. Hart's swansong season

    FT: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone

Soon to be retiring Joe Hart, 36, will have a maximum of 10 professional games left in his playing career, with Celtic having eight more league fixtures, a Scottish Cup semi-final and potentially a final to play.

The former England international didn't have much to do today and will be annoyed by that late goal for Saints.

  15. VAR 'killing the game'

    FT: Motherwell 0-1 Aberdeen

Sportsound pundit Michael Stewart on Lennon Miller's disallowed first-half goal at Fir Park.

There was another handball claim the other way right at the end, which looked rather similar.

  16. Team-talk of the season?

    FT: Kilmarnock 5-2 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane

    BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

In 30 years of covering Scottish football, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. Five Kilmarnock goals in 18 second-half minutes and a complete collapse by a St Mirren side who were streets ahead in the first half.

Is that team-talk of the season from Derek McInnes?

A real head-scratcher for the visitors. In total control at half-time. Totally blown away by 80 minutes, a capitulation that will both bemuse and worry manager Stephen Robinson who sees Killie leapfrog his side into fourth place.

  17. Big three points for Aberdeen

    FT: Motherwell 0-1 Aberdeen

    Jane Lewis

    BBC Scotland at Fir Park

What a big win that is for Aberdeen. It ends a run of 11 league games without a victory and gives them more breathing space, with three teams worse off in the table.

Motherwell threw everything at this one in the second half, but Kelle Roos and the Dons defence just about kept the home attack at bay.

  18. GOAL Partick Thistle 2-1 MORTON

    Robbie Muirhead

Oops! Went too early with the full-time at Firhill.

The visitors claw one back on 94 minutes but it's all over now, so just a consolation for the Greenock side.

  19. FULL-TIME

    Scottish League 2

    Bonnyrigg Rose 1-2 Clyde

    Forfar Athletic 1-1 Stenhousemuir

    Peterhead 1-1 East Fife

    Stranraer 1-2 Elgin City

    The Spartans 2-6 Dumbarton

  20. FULL-TIME
