  2. 'A statement if United went through'published at 14:19 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

Man Utd v Chelsea (14:35 BST)

    Ellen White
Former England striker on the Women's Football Weekly podcast

I think it would be a statement for them to go through. I don’t know if winning it would be enough [for Marc Skinner]. I feel like as a club, as Manchester United, the new takeover and what they want from the women’s team, we don’t know that yet.

For the players to be going to back-to-back FA Cup finals would be absolutely incredible and a really exciting opportunity against either Spurs of Leicester.

For me, playing in an FA Cup final is a dream, it’s so iconic isn’t it? It’s one of the greatest trophies in the world and it would be incredible for any of those teams to be there at Wembley, to have their fans, their family and friends, it will be a really lovely moment.

  3. Final rematchpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

Man Utd v Chelsea (14:35 BST)

The day's other semi-final gets started in just under 20 minutes' time as Chelsea travel to Manchester United - and history is on Chelsea's side.

They only have to look as far back as last season's final for inspiration, with the Blues beating United 1-0 at Wembley.

Revenge will be on the mind of Reds boss Marc Skinner - will they be able to get the better of Chelsea and prevent them reaching a fourth successive final?

    HT: Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

A lot of players are sat down on the turf receiving treatment, a lot of aching legs out there now. Plenty of fluids being taken onboard too.

How do the managers approach this second half of extra time? Go for the winner or play for penalties?

Remember, an historic first-ever major final is on the line for both of these teams.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

The first half of extra time goes by without any further goals.

    Are we headed for penalties?

  6. Postpublished at 105 +1 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

The game has gotten a little scrappy in the last few minutes, a few little fouls here and there from both sides and neither has been able to sustain any spell of pressure in attack.

It looks as though tiredness has begun to play its part for some of the players.

Becky Spencer is so calm and composed. She could probably play outfield.

  8. Postpublished at 103 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

Anothe nervy moment in the Spurs defence as they look to play out from the back.

The ball is passed back to Becky Spencer under pressure, but calm as you like she side steps the press in front of her own goal line and keeps the ball moving forward.

As soon as Saori Takarada went down, she signalled that she was done.

If you flag that you have a little issue, it's better safe than sorry.

We genuinely can't believe that didn't go in. Becky Spencer managed to avoid it hitting her on the back as it bounced off the underside of the crossbar.

Immediately afterwards, Jennifer Foster was screaming at the officials, along with the entire Leicester City bench as they wanted a penalty when Sophie Howard went down in the box.

Foster's appeals earned her a yellow card in the process.

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

Leicester seem to have picked up another burst of energy as this first period of extra time has gotten going.

They work the ball well down the left hand side, with some intricate passing before Aileen Whelan crosses into the box.

The cross is over hit though and Spurs recover the ball deep in their own half.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 100 mins

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

So, so close to a second for Leicester City.

It's their player of the moment Jutta Rantala again, who strikes the aforementioned free kick with such venom, crashing it off the crossbar.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 98 mins

    Another change for the visitors.

Saori Takarada leaves the field after receiving treatment, being replaced by Aimee Palmer.

The Foxes also made a change at full time before this extra period got under way, with Nicole Momiki being replaced by Aileen Whelan.

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

Lena Petermann is down and looks to be in some pain here. Leicester will have a free kick on the edge of the box.

Replays show that the contact from Olga Ahtinen did come outside the box but it was a nervy moment there for Spurs who could have been facing a penalty instead.

  15. Postpublished at 95 mins

The answer is a resounding no.

First one hits the first player and the second set piece is well over hit, gliding into the arms of Leicester keeper Lize Kop.

Can they make better use of this one?

Free kick to Tottenham around 30 yards out from goal on the left hand side.

A great opportunity to stick the ball in the box here.

  19. 'Tottenham have the momentum'published at 14:00 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

    Tottenham 1-1 Leicester

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

Tottenham looked like they were beaten but the goal showed different.

They have the momentum because they have scored the late goal.

They had to force the changes to get the comeback.

The decision to take Deanne Rose off has hurt Leicester.

  20. Naz levels for Spurspublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

In case you missed it earlier, this is the goal that levelled the game for Tottenham late on.

Brilliant composure and a tidy finish from forward Jess Naz.
