  1. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Rotherham 0-0 Huddersfield

All over and no goals in the Yorkshire derby.

Huddersfield, to their credit, did well to hold on for a point having played most of the second half without Sorba Thomas who was sent off for a second yellow card.

But it's a result which does neither side any favours in terms of their survival hopes.

  2. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 6-0 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Al Al-Hamadi (90 mins)

Ipswich are still going! Look away Sheffield Wednesday fans...

Sub Ali Al-Hamadi gets his second in 10 minutes and Ipswich's sixth, tapping in another assist from Omari Hutchinson - who has scored two and set up two goals this afternoon.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Sunderland 0-0 QPR

Neither Sunderland or QPR improved their position in the Championship table following a rather stale goalless draw at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland remain 12th and manage to stop their six-game-skid with a point at least - every cloud.

QPR are still just a point outside the bottom three in 20th.

  4. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

Despite a thrilling finale, this one ends goalless.

Middlesbrough's three-game winning run comes to an end as they slip to 10th and seven points off the play-offs.

Blackburn rise to 17th and three points off the bottom three.

  5. 'Very few Wednesday players are Championship quality'published at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Ipswich 5-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    Chris Turner
Former Sheffield Wednesday manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

We know why Sheffield Wednesday are where they are and it's not Danny Rohl. The mistakes were made at the start of this season; with the appointment of the previous manager, with the departure of the previous manger. The brand of football at Hillsborough wasn't great last season but it was enough to get them up. Ipswich went up with a bit of style and it's continued.

Ipswich are a team that are on the go and Sheffield Wednesday are the total opposite. They've got to pray and hope Rohl can do enough to keep them in the Championship. If I look at the players on the pitch, there's very few players out there for Sheffield Wednesday that are Championship quality. If they stay up, there's a massive rebuild needed to make them a Championship team.

It's sad watching them play like this.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    West Brom 2-0 Bristol City

Bristol City are trying in vain to get something out of this game.

George Tanner's volley was palmed away by Alex Palmer and Mark Sykes has seen a header hit the bar.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:50 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

A drab second half it may have been but this one's opened up right at the end!

Middlesbrough hit the crossbar through Isaiah Jones as they press Blackburn and substitute Sam Silvera can't quite divert the rebound home.

  8. Ipswich fans believepublished at 16:50 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Ipswich 5-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    Marc Webber
    Final Score

“Stand up, if you’re going up!” was the shout ringing around Portman Road after their fifth goal.

It’s stupidly tight at the top but these fans believe.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

Massive chance for Blackburn with just a few minutes left on the clock.

Sondre Tronstad picks out Ryan Hedges on the edge of the Middlesbrough box and he fires left-footed towards goal but Boro keeper Seny Dieng palms his effort away.

  10. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 5-0 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 16:45 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Ali Al-Hamadi (80 mins)

That is what you'd call the cherry on the cake.

Ali Al-Hamadi makes it five for Ipswich. Omari Hutchinson starts it off, breaking halfway down the pitch and while substitute Jeremy Sarmiento saw his effort saved, fellow sub Al-Hamadi was there to put away the rebound.

Another goalfest at Portman Road. How many times have we said that this season?

  11. 'Rallying call for Birmingham'published at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Birmingham 0-1 Watford

It's a rallying call now. This season people have said about numerous teams 'oh they've played good enough, they won't go down' but that's gone out the window now.

If Birmingham can find two goals, that's great, but they definitely need one. Time is disappearing.

  12. Postpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Stoke 0-3 Norwich

The bet365 Stadium is a factory of sadness right now.

With 10 minutes left to play some of the Stoke fans are already leaving the stands and heading toward the exit.

They'll be gutted if the Potters mount a historic comeback.

  13. Postpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn

Not a great deal happening in the north east in the Championship this afternoon.

Sunderland and QPR is goalless and short of action - as is Middlesbrough and Blackburn, neither of which seem likely to find the net.

Just over 10 minutes remains for either side to get off the mark.

  14. Postpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Sunderland 0-0 QPR

Sunderland v QPRImage source, Getty Images

We haven't mentioned the Sunderland versus QPR match much this afternoon, because... there is literally nothing happening at the Stadium of Light.

Hoops forward Chris Willock's cross-come-shot that pinged off the bar has been the highlight of a rather lacklustre second half.

Neither side will improve their position in the Championship table if it remains 0-0.

  15. 'Stoke fans have had enough'published at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Stoke 0-3 Norwich

    Steven SchumacherImage source, Rex Features

It has been good to watch Norwich but I think Stoke have made it really easy for them. They've been really poor in defending the wide areas. Sam McCallum and Jack Stacey have managed to find masses of room to attack from and Stoke have struggled with the defenders. Steven Schumacher looks baffled.

The Stoke fans are leaving already. I was just thinking how empty the stadium looks but perhaps at half-time people thought 'that's it - I've had enough, I'm going home.'

  16. Postpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    West Brom 2-0 Bristol City

Tom Fellows got West Brom's first goal today and he almost has a second as Mikey Johnston plays him in, but Robins keeper Max O'Leary makes the save.

Both managers have made three changes each now as we approach the final 15 minutes.

  17. Postpublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Rotherham 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield continuing to test Rotherham despite their player disadvantage.

Jaheim Headley sends a low ball in to Delano Burgzorg inside the Millers' box but his powerful effort draws a fine save from Rotherham keeper Viktor Johnasson.

  18. Postpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Birmingham 0-1 Watford

Birmingham are knocking on the door again.

Blues midfielder Koji Miyoshi has his second chance in as many minutes, but he shoots just wide!

Watford are holding on to this lead by the skin of their teeth and will jump one spot up the Championship table to 13th with three points today.

Birmingham will remain teetering on the edge of the bottom three if they fail to get a point.

  19. 'Two big clubs are going down'published at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Ipswich 4-0 Sheffield Wednesday

    Chris Turner
Former Sheffield Wednesday manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

I think the two clubs going down, with Rotherham, are going to be big clubs. To League One.

It's sad to see the difference in the two teams today after where they both were last season. Sheffield Wednesday have got to get themselves together and show some strength. 5-0 is a drubbing and you don't want to go down with those kinds of scorelines - even if you're against a team at the top.

  20. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Plymouth 0-1 Preston

Now it's Preston's turn to threaten a second goal against Plymouth.

Mads Frokjaer wins a corner for the visitors and Liam Millar sends it into the box and finds Jordan Storey.

But Argyle keeper Michael Cooper makes a save low to his left to deny him.
