Thistle look for an immediate response.

Imogen Longcake tries to send Cara Henderson, but the ball takes a nick off a blue shirt and Thistle have a corner.

Amy Bulloch floats it into the box, but it's headed away by the Rangers defence.

Kathy Hill picks out Brogan Hay on the left, but Thistle are holding firm at the back and once again clear any danger as Rangers are forced to retreat to the half way line.

And there it is in action.

Imogen Longcake does so well to run on to the pass and work her way into the Rangers box, but she just takes a wee bit too long to try and get her shot away and it's comfortably dealt with by the holders.

Suited and booted, this chap was beyond buzzing pre-match.

He told me his side would be going right for it, with Imogen Longcake's burning pace right through the middle. He's been true to his word.

This has been a fine start by Thistle, really impressive stuff.

Thistle try to get forward and it's brought back for a free-kick just inside their own half.

Ava Easdon sends it towards the Rangers box, but Nicola Docherty manages to get it clear.

There's an early chance for Rangers as Mia McAulay breaks towards the Thistle box.

She lays it off for Rachel Rowe, who finds Brogan Hay at the back post, but it's only pink and grey shirts in its path and it goes out for a Rangers corner.

McAulay sends it back in quickly, but Thistle manage to get rid of the danger.

The sun is belting in Gorgie, the bearded, kilted bagpipers were once again outside Tynecastle kicking off the atmosphere and it's continued into the ground.

Cracking wee buzz about the place. Here's hoping the football matches it.

Partick Thistle manager Brian Graham tells Sky Sports: "My girls are so excited, we are really looking forward to it.

"The mood has been really excited on the way here and we are hoping we can do it on the pitch.

"We have got to respect Rangers, but we can't fear them. It is about getting after them. We are going to try and hurt Rangers."

Rangers manager Jo Potter tells Sky Sports: "The girls have had a buzzing morning to say the least. They need to enjoy the occasion because it is something they can look back on in years to come.

"We want to make sure we are lifting that trophy at the end of it.

"We know we have got a game plan, we have got players in there that can bring individual brilliance.

"Moments win games. We are looking to our players today to see who can do that for us."

Thistle's progress to the final has been dogged rather than flashy. A 2-0 win over Spartans was followed by a 2-1 defeat of Montrose before seven-time winners Hibs were impressively dispatched Hibs 2-0.

Making history has been Brian Graham's theme this week as he looks to recapture the giant-killing spirit of the famous 4-1 League Cup victory the men's team enjoyed over Celtic in 1971.

Graham himself lifted the League Cup with Ross County as a player - as well as league titles with Thistle, County and Hibs - but insists claiming his first silverware as a manager would be even sweeter.

"The first silverware you win as a manager is extremely special," he said. "So, fingers crossed, I can do it on Sunday."

Four changes for Jo Potter from the side that lost 2-1 to Celtic in their first defeat of the season last weekend.

Jenna Fife, Lizzie Arnot, Sarah Ewens and Lisa Martinez all drop to the bench.

Mia McAulay starts her first final since penning her first pro contract this season. Goalkeeper Victoria Esson, Kathy Hill and Jane Ross are back in the starting line-up after they were on the bench last weekend.

On-loan Rangers goalkeeper Megan Cunningham is ineligible to face her parent club, so Ava Easdon (on loan from Glasgow City) returns between the sticks.

Rosie Slater, Cara Henderson, Rachel Donaldson, Amy Bulloch, Imogen Longcake and Lucy Sinclair are all back in the starting line-up having been on the bench last weekend.

Kodie Hay, Claire Adams, Rebecca McAllister, Jenna Ferguson, Morgan Anderson and Carla Boyce all drop out.
