Northampton have scored a goal that could relegate Carlisle United.

Kieron Bowie has struck from close range following a corner, meaning that Carlisle are 13 points adrift of safety as things stand, while 20th-placed Burton also still behind at Oxford.

Cheltenham's hopes of lifting themselves out of the bottom four have also suffered a blow, with Ethan Galbraith firing the ball home to give Leyton Orient the lead at Brisbane Road.

There is better news for Barnsley, who have made it 1-1 at Charlton through Adam Phillips' penalty, while Reece Cole has put Exeter 1-0 up at home to Stevenage.

Just as it seemed like the goals were dripping through slowly, Shrewsbury Town find an equaliser to make it 1-1 at League One leaders Portsmouth.

Alfie May's free kick has given Charlton the lead at home to Barnsley, which must be frustrating for the Tykes, who realistically need a result today to keep their narrow hopes of automatic promotion alive.

Meanwhile, Oxford are now into the play-off places, thanks to Mark Harris scoring the opening goal in their match at Burton Albion.

Elsewhere, Blackpool are 1-0 up on Cambridge, thanks to Sonny Carey.

Mansfield have only lost twice at home this season, but Crawley are already 2-0 up at Field Mill. Nicholas Tsaroulla has doubled the advantage for Scott Lindsay's side.

That result means those chasing the play-offs places need to respond, but that's definitely not happening so far.

Doncaster are on the way to six wins a row. Luke Molyneux has struck twice at eight-placed Morecambe.

    How costly could this be?

Ian Poveda's cross is met at the back post by Josh Windass but somehow he diverts his effort past the post.

The Owls desperately need a result today and they might not get a better chance than that.
