Into the 30th minute and no real goalmouth action of which to speak.

I'm not unduly worried though, it was 0-0 after half an hour when these sides met in December and finished 2-2.

    Very evenly contested so far.

Both teams are doing fine work between the two boxes but, just at the moment, that last pass or cross isn't there.

Understandable really, the pressure on this one is immense.

David Wagner is getting quite animated at the moment. He knows Ipswich can hit on the break and we need to be careful with how we pass the ball around.

You can really sense the pressure of this game, and the Canaries need to relax the nerves.

This has been a very meaty exchange so far and Ipswich look up for it.

However, they have to be careful not to give too much of the ball to Jack Stacey. He's galloping up and down the wing like an Olympic sprinter!

The two teams in action in today's early game might be looking to go up but one of the Championship's relegation spots is already sewn up.

Rotherham's inevitable return to League One was confirmed on Friday night as they fell to a 1-0 defeat by Plymouth.

Bali Mumba's goal gave the Pilgrims, who sacked head coach Ian Foster on Monday, a first win in six and moved them four points clear of the bottom three.

As for Rotherham, last night's reverse was a 26th of a wretched campaign that has seen them win just four games to date.

As mentioned a moment ago, Ipswich are without a win in Norfolk since 2006.

It won't be easy to end that miserable run today, the Canaries are unbeaten in front of their own fans since way back in November and have won their past seven matches at Carrow Road.

However, boss David Wagner is aware that that might not count for much on derby day.

"It makes it even more exciting because you want to test yourself against the best, and after 40 games they are the best, so it makes even more interesting and probably counts more for us to cause the league leaders some problems," he told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"Our home record is top class but what happened in the weeks before doesn't really count in a derby. You have to be focused on yourself, calm in your head and be super competitive, fight for every inch and this is what we will do."

Meanwhile, Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna hopes to give his side's supporters "another fantastic day".

Town are winless against Norwich in 15 years in all competitions but, chasing a second successive promotion, arrive in Norfolk in confident mood.

"The players have given the supporters so many nights to enjoy over the past couple of years, so many memories," McKenna told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"We know that winning away to our local rivals would be another fantastic day.

"In my experience, going away from home and getting a result is some of the best wins I've been part of. And we'll endeavour to make Saturday another one of those."

Good afternoon and welcome to a bumper EFL live text as we head into the final straight of the season.

We're starting off with an absolute humdinger with East Anglian rivals Norwich and Ipswich meeting with far more than just local bragging rights on the line.

Championship table-toppers Town could end the day five points clear of third if results go their way, but for that to happen they'll need to do something they haven't done since February 2006 and win at their bitter rivals.

Like their visitors today Norwich have designs on ending the season with promotion, albeit they'll be looking to do it through the play-offs. The Canaries are sixth, four points clear of seventh-placed Coventry, who have a game in hand.

After the action down in Norfolk is wrapped we'll be turning our attention to 10 Championship games, 10 League One matches and a full complement of League Two fixtures.

    Off we go!
