Dundee United stretch their lead at the top of the second tier to four points after a convincing win - their first in four meetings - over their closest challengers, Raith Rovers, although the Kirkcaldy side still have a game in hand.
Dunfermline survive a two-goal fightback by bottom side Arbroath to move up to fourth above Airdrieonians, who also drop behind Morton after the Greenock side beat Queen's Park.
Partick Thistle consolidate third and leave Caley Thistle four adrift of Queen's Park in the relegation play-off spot.
Falkirk clinch League 1 title
Falkirk don't kick off for another 25 minutes in Montrose, but they have already been crowned League 1 champions.
That's thanks to nearest challengers Hamilton being held to a goalless draw by Queen of the South.

FULL-TIME St Johnstone 1-2 Dundee
Dundee are back into the top six with victory in their derby in Perth, leapfrogging Hibs.
Disappointing for St Johnstone, who remain just one point clear of the Ross County in 11th.

Rangers return to the summit of the Premiership courtesy of goals from James Tavernier, Cyriel Dessers and Rabbi Matondo.
Myziane Maolida pulled Hibs level, but the Easter Road side were picked off and drop out of the top six.
FULL-TIME Motherwell 1-1 St Mirren
St Mirren will have to wait to confirm their place in the top sixafter Motherwell come from behind to draw.
The head of Marcus Fraser gave the visitors the lead in the first half as he nodded in a corner following Andy Halliday's missed clearing header.
Motherwell's talisman Theo Bair bundled in a leveller in the 74th minute to keep Stuart Kettlewell's slim top six dream alive.

The hosts overcome a strong Staggies performance, with Jamie McGrath's 79th-minute strike proving to be the winner.

Marley Watkins' stunning equaliser means Hearts and Killie share the points at Tynecastle and remain in third and fourth place respectively.
Kenneth Vargas had nodded the hosts ahead in the 10th minute, but Derek McInnes' side huffed and puffed and eventually found an equaliser with Watkins' curling effort from the edge of the box.
