    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Two corners for Scotland sent in by Erin Cuthbert, but they can't make anything of it and Serbia race up on the counter.

Their attack is cut short by the Scots though.

Six fouls committed in the opening 19 minutes, four for the Scots two for the Serbs.

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Scotland

Certainly, at this stage, the sides are cancelling each other out. It's very stop-start with so many fouls.

  4. Postpublished at 17:17 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Vesna Milivojevic's strike is blocked well by Sophie Howard as Serbia go forward again.

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Scotland go forward and win themselves a corner.

Claire Emslie sends it to the back post, where Sophie Howard looks to be pulled down by Jovana Damnjanovic - play on says the ref.

A cagey one so far, eh?

Jovana Damnjanovic is quite the handful through the middle…

  7. Postpublished at 17:13 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Tell you what, Serbia look a threat when they go forward. Some solid defending has been required from Scotland already, but they seem up to the test so far.

  8. Postpublished at 17:11 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Jovana Damnjanovic gets on the end of a long ball, but the Bayern Munich forward is a mile offside and the flag's up.

  9. Gibson provides 'safe hands'published at 17:10 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Scotland

It just looks like her knee has popped inside as she landed.

It's unfortunate, but Scotland are in safe hands with Lee Gibson.

  10. Scotland lose keeper MacIverpublished at 17:09 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

That's Sandy MacIver heading off. Not the start Scotland will have wanted.

Just seen a replay of the incident. Looks like she jars her knee as she lands when she went to catch that corner, no doubt a sore one. Fair play for attempting to play on though.

Lee Gibson is on to replace her.

  11. 'Quite concerning' for MacIverpublished at 17:07 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Scotland

I don't think there's too much in it. But Sandy MacIver is holding her knee, which is quite concerning. It looks like the way she's landed.

Good to see her back on her feet, but time will tell.

  12. Postpublished at 17:06 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Oh she's back to her feet now and good to keep going - trooper.

  13. Postpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Erin Cuthbert puts a late challenge in on Andela Krstic and Serbia have a free-kick just inside Scotland's half.

It's sent into the box, but Sandy MacIver comes out to catch, she seems to take a knock from Jovana Damnjanovic in the process.

The goalkeeper's down getting some treatment at the moment. This would not be good for Pedro Martinez Losa.

  14. Postpublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

An early scare for the Scots. The ball's given away in midfield and Serbia number nine Jovana Damnjanovic looks through on goal, but Sophie Howard slides in to make a crucial block.

  15. 'Massive' gamepublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 5 April

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Scotland

This is massive. The longer you are not at tournaments and mixing with the elite, the more pressure there is.

Scotland certainly win on the anthem singing front, a less than tuneful rendition from the Serbs there...

    Serbia v Scotland (17:00)

It was 2019 the last time Scotland featured in a major tournament - a Women's World Cup campaign that ended in dramatic fashion.

Scotland were beating Argentina 3-0 in the final game of the campaign before conceding two goals in 15 minutes.

VAR then awarded a controversial penalty in the final minute.

Lee Alexander, who was between the sticks for the Scots, saved the spot kick, which would have bagged an all important three points.

But VAR ordered the penalty be re-taken after the goalkeeper was deemed to be off her line
