Everton boss Brian Sorensen says his side face a "big test" this afternoon when Arsenal come to visit Walton Hall Park.

The Toffees only narrowly lost 2-1 away from home in the reverse fixture, but Sorensen says that his side must be "realistic" in light of the Gunners' strong recent form.

“We will see what we can do today to get a team ready for Arsenal because that will be a massive task. They are one of the most organised teams in the league and have been looking really good lately. It’s a big test for us."

He added, " We know that when they get their game going and they suffocate you, it can be a long 90 minutes so we have to be realistic and try to set the team up for that. We hope we can make a good game out of it."

  2. Team news - Everton lacking numbers, Arsenal unchangedpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 28 April

    Everton v Arsenal (12:30 BST)

Brian Sorensen's Everton squad is so thin on the ground that he had to bring a notepad to his pre-match news conference to remember the team news.

Aurora Galli, Kathrine Kuhl and Hannah Bennison are out in the three changes from last Friday's win against Brighton.

Galli is out for "probably the next two games," Kuhl is ineligible against her parent club and Bennison has been ill this week.

Emma Bissell, Martina Piemonte and Karen Holmgaard, who nodded in a cross from twin sister Sara against Brighton, replace them.

Everton XI: Brosnan; S. Holmgaard, Stenevik, Finnigan, Vanhaevermaet, Hope; Piemonte, Wheeler, K. Holmgaard, Bissell; Snoeijs.

Subs: Hart, Dale, Wilding, Hobson, Settle, Jones.

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall sticks with the side who beat Leicester 3-0 in the league last weekend.

That means he once again opts to start both Alessia Russo and Stina Blackstenius in attack.

Frida Maanum, who came on for her first minutes last weekend since collapsing in the League Cup final, is once again on the bench.

Arsenal XI: Zinsberger; Fox, Williamson, Catley, McCabe; Mead, Little, Pelova, Foord; Russo, Blackstenius.

Subs: Williams, Goldie, Codina, Reid, Wienroither, Cooney-Cross, Maanum, Lacasse, Miedema.

With Bristol City's relegation to the Championship all but confirmed last weekend, and Arsenal also sewing up the final Champions League spot for next season, just one part of the Women's Super League table remains to be decided.

And it's the 'big one'.... The title.

Man City can go six points clear of Chelsea with a win away to almost relegated Bristol City this evening, with Emma Hayes' side not in WSL action this weekend.

Can Gareth Taylor's side pile further pressure on the reigning champions?
