Lewis Hamilton seized the advantage on Friday afternoon, as he has done in the last few races, finishing a massive eight tenths clear of the field.

That's not representative of the gap to team-mate Nico Rosberg, who made a mistake on his final flying lap, but will no doubt give him confidence ahead of qualifying tomorrow.

Can Rosberg respond on Saturday? I'll see you then to find out.

"The drivers are not saying there's anything particularly wrong with the car, but it doesn't seem quite quick enough."

When BBC F1 commentator Ben Edwards asks Red Bull boss Christian Horner what they think the problem is on Daniel Ricciardo's car, he replies: "I'll give you three guesses, no, one guess." Ben replies: "Power unit failure?"

"Yes," says Horner, "In fairness, that power unit was right at the end of it's life. Unfortunately, it's missed six and half minutes of use."

Red Bull have had a number of problems with the Renault power unit this season.
