    The second session starts at 11:00 BST and will last 90 minutes.

    The drivers will do a low-fuel run mid-way through the session before switching their attention to long-runs, with high fuel, as they begin preparations for Sunday's race.

    With no previous data to work with, as this is a new venue, this session is very, very important.

    Marussia built Jules Bianchi's car, which has been scrutineered and is ready to race, and it will remain on his side of the garage throughout the weekend.

    The team have decided to only run on car - Max Chilton - as they feel it "is the appropriate course of action under the difficult circumstances of the weekend".

    The last few days have been difficult for the F1 fraternity, their thoughts with Jules Bianchi who is in a critical but stable condition with severe head injuries after crashing in Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix.

    Nico Rosberg, pace-setter in this morning's first practice session, has the slogan "Tous avec Jules #17" on his helmet - as do all the drivers.

    In this image, the message #KeepFightingMichael remains on the headrest in support of seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher, who continues his recovery at home after suffering a head injury in a skiing accident last December.
