Lewis Hamilton has drifted out to 0.9 seconds behind Nico Rosberg, after getting out of shape at Turn One. Only four laps to go. Hamilton looks to have run out of time.
Great battle between the Ferraris with Fernando Alonso trying to find a way past team-mate Kimi Raikkonen. The Finn has no plans to give up sixth place without a real fight.
Romain Grosjean has stopped out on track. It looks like the Frenchman will become the second retirement of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, who was forced to retire, speaking to BBC Sport: "In the end in was a suspension failure, I thought it was a brake failure as it went when I broke on Turn One.
"It was a bit of a shame but I cannot be greedy, I have had a good run up to now. I would have loved to have been out there but that's how it goes sometimes."
Valtteri Bottas has recovered to 10th, after two poor pit stops, with Nico Hulkenberg ahead in ninth. Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg leads Lewis Hamilton by 0.8 seconds. Seven laps to go.
Nico Rosberg is responding well from the pressure from his team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton is dropping back. Perhaps he's taken too much out of those tyres.
