Well, it gives us more time to talk about qualifying changes...
The afternoon session is upon us. Buckle up for another four hours of testy testing.
The Mercedes has completed 402 laps so far this week...
This is from the FAI press release and it describes how the knockout qualification proposed for this year would work:
Q1
16 minutes
After 7 minutes, slowest driver eliminated
Slowest driver eliminated every 1 minute 30 seconds thereafter until the chequered flag
7 drivers eliminated, 15 progress to Q2
Q2
15 minutes
After 6 minutes, slowest driver eliminated
Slowest driver eliminated every 1 minute 30 seconds thereafter until the chequered flag
7 drivers eliminated, 8 progress to Q3
Q3
14 minutes
After 5 minutes, slowest driver eliminated
Slowest driver eliminated every 1 minute 30 seconds thereafter until the chequered flag
2 drivers left in final 1 minute 30 seconds
- The final elimination in each session occurs at the chequered flag – not when time is up.

Right. I cooked my fish curry for too long and the Tuppaware has malformed.
But, I will give you some times...
That's the morning session in the books.
Time to do lunch.
At 13:00 GMT Lewis Hamilton will be in the Mercedes and, the heavens willing, Kimi Raikkonen will be out there too.
I'm going to warm up a fish curry, but I'll be back with you in 10 minutes to wade through your wonderful tweets.
Erm, Kimi. Every day. 365 days a year.
Welcome to the big leagues Rio.
No news yet on whether his departure from the tarmac was mechanical, but you're not a real F1 driver until your car has been on the back of a recovery vehicle.
On another note. Have I mentioned how lovely the Manor looks? I think it's lush.

The laps aren't officially listed with them, Jason.
But just by looking, most have been on the mediums.
Daniil Kvyat has had a run on the super softs, Jenson on the softs and Felipe Nasr, randomly, had a run on the wets - I think.

While we sort out that red flag, let's talk about more #ThingsAlmostAsAwesomeAsKimi
Here was my initial list:
And here is what you're adding to it:
Two.
Two magnificent laps completed by Kimi Raikkonen now.
