All this talk of sausage is making me peckish.
Renault's Jolyon Palmer on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra: "One of the nice things about Austria is it is undulating, but that will mean there are puddles and rivers. It will be challenging but it will be good to get out there because it could be like this all weekend."
One the yellow kerbs that damaged Max Verstappen's car: "I don't think the kerbs are particularly sensible. There is a mixture of sausage kerbs. I've not had any problems myself."

I'm next to Lewis Hamilton so it's a bit awkward. You'd have to say he would be up there. I like to look forward, so I would think of one of the younger drivers like Max Verstappen. I think he will be a real talent and maybe a future world champion.

Aquaplaning galore.
All the cars are sitting out this deluge.

The Mercedes looks comfortable back in the garage. But what's interesting is the wind has got up and it's pushing the water down the pit lane. There is standing water and that will be a bit of a worry when the teams come back out.
Here's Kimi's spin, minutes before the heavens opened.
Allan McNish
BBC Radio 5 live Formula 1 analyst
"One part of the circuit is wet while another is completely dry. I knew there was a 30% chance of rain, I didn't realise it would be on 40% of the circuit."
It's hammering down. Spray everywhere. Jolyon Palmer goes for a spin.
All the cars are coming in to put on a new set of tyres.
Drops of rain has quickly changed to a shed load of rain.
Sergio Perez comes on the radio to say the first sector is driveable but he has doubts over the rest of the track.
Just as he says it, he spins.
Kimi Raikkonen, the hero that he is, decides to entertain everyone by spinning off on to the gravel at Turn Five.
He clipped the inside kerb and tried to steady the ship, but was instead showered with pebbles.
