Hmmm. Looking a few moments earlier, Vettel goes over one of these yellow sausage kerbs on the final turn, moments before his tyre turns into confetti.
Lap 29/71
So the cars queue up behind the safety car and a few of them avoid the debris on the straight by going through the pit lane.

This has been a talking point in terms of the kerbs although the tyres have been pretty robust.
Lap 29/71
The safety car is out. Dramatic images as we watch the replays of Vettel's tyre exploding like a balloon coming into contact with a needle.
The German is on the home straight and rubber flies everywhere, including on Rosberg's car behind him.
The Ferrari bounces off the right wall and back over the track, narrowly avoiding Wehrlein's Manor.
Scary, scary stuff.

He's hit the barrier on the inside of the pit wall. Those tyres had done about 30 laps, inluding the qualifying run. They were scheduled to do 33-35.
Lap 27/71
Oh my word. You know I was saying Vettel was yet to pit?
He may regret it. His right-rear tyre has popped and put him into a spin.
"Nothing I can do, engine off," he tells the Ferrari team on the radio.
Lap 27/71
Vettel is bouncing all over the place! He's out.
Lap 27/71
Magnussen is under investigation for that slip-slide in front of Wehrlein.
Wehrlein said on team radio: "Changing the direction five times!"
The response from the garage: "Yes, Pascal, we'll get on to Charlie, we'll get on to Charlie."
Lap 26/71
Vettel is the only front runner yet to pit and he leads the race.
Rosberg is four seconds down in second and Hamilton is a second further back.
When Vettel boxes, the Mercedes will be battling it out.
Lap 25/71
Wehrlein is very unhappy with Magnussen - the Renault weaves all over the place in front of the Manor.
Lap 23/71
Raikkonen briefly leads, but he boxes and finds himself in sixth.

Have we just witnessed a crucial moment in the Austrian Grand Prix?
Lap 22/71
Hamilton pits... it's a slow tyre change. Where will he come out? Fourth - behind third-placed Rosberg.
Lap 22/71
Hamilton's lead over Raikkonen is almost 4.5 seconds.
Rosberg, on the yewllow-trimmed soft tyres, is gobbling up quickest laps like penny sweets.
Lap 20/71
Bottas is the next man to leave Guitierrez in he wake.
Up top, Hamilton, still on ultra soft tyres, is being chased by two Ferraris. Neither Raikkonen nor Vettel have pitted and are still on super softs.
Lap 19/71
So much movement in the mid-field.
Jenson Button goes past Esteban Gutierrez into ninth and Nico Hulkenberg follows suit.
