It looks like this world championship once again will be a straight battle between these two Mercedes drivers.

    Mercedes come on the radio.

"Lewis, close that gap as much as you can. It's hammer time."

Lewis Hamilton, like a superhero, can only be turned into beast mode with the words "hammer time".

It seems a patient approach from Raikkonen. He doesn't take advantage of the DRS out of Turn Two.

There's a bit of a battle for fourth emerging. Ricciardo holds the spot but is losing pace and Raikkonen has him in his sights.

Everything was coming up Hulk before the race started. But he's gone from P2 to P13, has a five-second penalty and now says this...

"I'm thinking of bailing out. I'm feeling so much vibration."

You just sense this is the calm before the storm. When the tyres go off, they go down a cliff.

Stephen: Poor Sauber are largely anonymous this year. Not at back. Not near front. Not got catchy livery.

Nasr, after a third stop, is last of all the cars on track. Ericsson is in P16.

As it stands, Mercedes' strategy looks wrong for Lewis Hamilton. He started in front of his team-mate, they've both pitted, but the world champion is second while the championship leader is first.

If Rosberg has to pit and Hamilton doesn't - then all that changes.

Nico Rosberg continues to set fastest laps. He's got fewer than 30 laps to make those tyres last.

  18. I had no signs before blow-up - Vettelpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Sebastian Vettel has been speaking to Radio 5 live's Claire Cottingham after his tyre exploded.

"Out of nowhere the tyre decided to blow up. I had no signs in the car, big shame," he says.

Is that the end of his championship challenge?

"There is a lot of races left but surely it doesn't help when you don't finish the race," he adds.

So much racing out on track, it's cracking stuff.

Sergio Perez and Felipe Massa are fighting over 10th place as if they've bet a pint on it. Or a G&T - whatever racing drivers drink.
