'He hit me, rather than the other way'published at 16:10 British Summer Time 3 July 2016
16:10 BST 3 July 2016Lewis Hamilton speaks to Sky Sports about the decision to put him on soft tyres and Nico Rosberg on super softs towards the end of the race.
"The step in tyre, every time you take a compound lighter it's faster and we only had 16 laps to go. I'm like 'how am I supposed to get by with a disadvantage?'
"I dug as deep as I could. I'll do everything I can whether it's right or wrong.
And what about the collision?
"Naturally as humans we are biased. I don't feel biased right now. I believe I was ahead going in. He was in my blind spot so I left loads of room. I started to turn and boom - I'm hit. I was pretty sure he hit me rather than the other way."

16:05 BST 3 July 2016Bram: Rosberg 100% responsible for this accident. If Toto introduces team orders surely Rosberg needs to be told to let Lewis through.
Lindsey: As if Lewis wasn't going to go for the win! Nico went to crazy lengths to stop his team-mate passing him.
Craig: Mercedes could always demote Rosberg to Manor. Too harsh?
Colin Whitehead: Mercedes thinking of introducing team orders? Go on ruin the excitement rather than punish the guilty party - Rosberg
Hamilton will do 'everything' to winpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 3 July 2016
16:04 BST 3 July 2016Lewis Hamilton has just faced the press pack and his disposition is brighter than it has been in recent weeks.
Much chattier too.
He says he will do "everything" he can to win, "whether it's right or wrong".

15:58 BST 3 July 2016Vote result
Thanks to all of you who took part in our vote on who was to blame for the last-lap collision between Mercedes team-mates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
The verdict of those who voted was pretty emphatic: 89% said Rosberg was at fault, 7% went for Hamilton and 4% said the blame was shared.
So we've put that one to bed.

15:56 BST 3 July 2016Stefan Brellisford: Can we get a mention for Wehrlein grabbing a point for Manor? Wonderful drive!
Anthony Amodeo: If Nico doesn't wise up, Merc should drop him. And if Merc don't hold him accountable, Lewis should leave.
Marvellous HinDae: Call that what you want, I call it cheating. Punish Rosberg!
Martin Haig: I'm blown away that people think Ham caused the crash. Nico didn't turn, whether he had an issue or not, ROS drove into Ham.

15:49 BST 3 July 2016Pascal Van Der Kamp: Wow, so many haters. Best thing to happen for Britain in a time of doom, and best British driver F1 driver ever. Lay off the guy.
Ryan Scott Hamilton: Would just like to mention Monaco 2015, Catalunya 2016 and now this. Rosberg knows he's slower, using underhanded tactics to win!
James: Not even debatable, Nico attemted revenge for the Austin GP but saw it backfire in spectacular fashion.
Vicky Sanderson: Hamilton in the wrong. Should have yielded and been the bigger man. Clearly doesn't respect the team. But we knew that anyway....

Dean Mayer: But Nico, the racing line was about five metres to your right.
Jimmy Flloyd Hazzabank: If Rosberg thinks he was in the right, why is he under investigation for the crash?

But he seemed happy.
I think. Who knows with Kimi?

15:38 BST 3 July 2016Keldon Alleyne: Sometimes F1 just comes down to a game of chicken. The natural risks of competitive racing are to blame.
Chris Ward: Clearly Rosberg at fault, made no attempt to turn in trying to ram Lewis off. Proof he knows Hamilton a superior racer.
Ishan Karande: Or it could be a pure racing incident!?!
Jon Williams: When you watch the onboard footage and then hear Nico say 'I dictate because I'm on the inside', it's obviously Nico's fault.

Wehrlein makes a piontpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 3 July 2016
15:36 BST 3 July 2016A funny old day for Pascal Wehrlein.
His race started curiously.
After the formation lap, he went into the wrong grid place - putting his into the P11 spot vacated by Felipe Massa's Williams.
He realised his error and tried to reverse out. Meanwhile, the race began and off he went.
Amazingly, there is no rule against reversing on the grid.
In the end, the 21-year-old finished a tremendous 10th in and secured his - and Manor's - first ever F1 point in his ninth race.

15:33 BST 3 July 2016Paul Sawyer: I'm a Nico fan but that was his fault. Trying to push HAM wide, don't think he meant to hit him though. Still a great drive til then.
Ollie Rees: Where was the racing line? Was Rosberg anywhere near it? Exactly - He went to cut LH off and moans that it failed.
Darth Paul: Rosberg's to blame 100%, anyone who says otherwise needs their head looked at.
'I like the taste of champagne'published at 15:31 British Summer Time 3 July 2016
15:31 BST 3 July 2016Look at Max Verstappen's face. Just look at it. Like a kid having a water fight on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Here he is talking to Sky Sports after finishing second: "I expected P3. P2 is great - it's a bonus. The whole race was good. I was puling away from the cars behind me.
"We are still losing a lot on the straights but through the corners I think the car is performing well.
"I like the taste of champagne, it kicks in a bit about now though."

15:26 BST 3 July 2016George Brunton: If only Mercedes had a second team to demote Rosberg to, he doesn't deserve that car!
Gary Thornton: The stewards will sort it out, but there's only one person in danger of a penalty, whether you like it or not.
175: I'm sorry but Lewis Hamilton shouldn't be getting the blame for the clash in the Austrian GP! Nico is 100% to blame.
Rob Parrett: Nico: "it was my corner, I was on the inside." Well, if it was "your corner" why not turn in? Really poor.
