  1. Mercedes consider team orders?published at 15:24 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Toto Wolff does an incredible job of avoiding blaming one driver - instead he just unloads both barrels on the pair of them.

"Can you imagine DNF-ing after Turn Two?" he tells Sky Sports.

"We're looking like a bunch of idiots and it's disrespectful to 1,500 people who work their nuts off on the cars."

Will he now impose team orders?

"What I am saying is this is on the table because maybe that's the only way we can manage the situation.

"I hate team orders but if every race ends up in a collision between team-mates, it's not what we want.

"If you are losing a one and two and finish one and four and lose a lot of points, that's not nice."

I've seen more replays from Rosberg's cockpit as they go into that Turn Two collision.

You say to yourself, "turn Nico. Now Nico. Turn now. Now. How about now."

James de Veulle: Looked like Rosberg's fault - whether intentional or due to brake issue, hard to say. Also turned in late though.

Ian Jones: Top race that, full of all sorts. Deserved last lap win, Rosberg never even attempted to make the apex on Turn 2.

Steve Hampson: Hamilton is a prat! The guy on the outside has to give the one on the racing line room. The stewards should disqualify him.

Beardy McBeardface: Very clearly blame lies with Nico, but pretty much every driver makes mistakes. It's just a racing incident.

  6. 'Who overtakes on Turn Three?!'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Jenson Button reacting to his fantastic P6 finish on Sky Sports: "A great race. I didn't quite win the first lap but there were Brits first and second for a few laps. But then people were overtaking where you would not expect - who overtakes in Turn Three?

"When everyone's got DRS it's difficult because they're pulling two car lengths on the straight."

Apologies to all the Jenson Button fans out there.

Any other day and I'd be singing from the rooftops about his P6 finish. Incredibly impressive.

Hopefully we'll have timer to reflect on that.

  9. 'We're looking like a bunch of idiots'published at 15:07 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Erm. Toto Wolff has gone full angry Austrian.

"We're looking like a bunch of idiots and it's disrespectful to 1,500 people who work their nuts off on the car."

Chris Gunn: Hamilton is the only driver on the circuit who is willing to do what it takes to win. Makes the sport interesting.

Ahmeer Wadee: Jerez 1997 comes to mind, although in that incident Villeneuve was on the inside rather than outside.

Phil Slocombe: It will only be a matter of time before Nico causes a very serious accident. Time that Mercedes swapped him for Button.

Chrispy: People calling Hamilton unsportsmanlike or hating on him need to watch the footage. Rosberg doesn't start steering.

  11. 'Deja vu for us'published at 15:05 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Toto Wolff on Sky Sports: "Nico had a brake power failure into Turn One so the braking had gone in Turn Two.

"Cars colliding seems a deja vu for us."

  12. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

More from Rosberg: "I'm absolutely gutted. Unbelievable. I was sure to win that race. The last lap was pretty intense. I was struggling a lot with my brakes and my tyres were degrading. It gave Lewis a chance but I was confident I could defend. I went a bit deep in the corner but I dictate because I'm on the inside.

"I was surprised Lewis turned in."

  13. Postpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Looking at replays, it honestly looks like Rosberg makes only half an effort to turn into that second corner, leaving Hamilton with nowhere to go...

    (Ducks down for cover).

Ant: Clear cut mistake/deliberate shunt from Rosberg. Some people need to get their eyes tested if they think Lewis Hamilton was to blame.

Joseph Harrison: All the people jumping to slate Hamilton when Nico pushed him off the track, what was he meant to do?

Gingersnaps: Niki Lauda is clearly biased. Terrible sportsmanship. Nico is clearly at fault for causing that crash.

Japhet Muthomi: Lewis Hamilton rightly booed. There's something about his racing that is so unsportsmanlike. Nico Rosberg must be gutted.

  16. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

It seems there is no grey area on the Hamilton and Rosberg collision.

I've not seen a single person say "it's just one of those things".

You're either backing Hamilton or Rosberg. Where do you stand?

Patrick Brookings: What a sad sad crowd there in Austria, so disrespectful.

Sho Rahman: Don't understand the jeers towards Lewis. He did nothing wrong, the blame lies with Nico for the accident.

Denislov Lietnev: It could be clean race but Mercedes made that crash happen with those lousy pit-stops for Hamilton!!

  20. 'Not funny to watch'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Mercedes non-executive director Niki Lauda on Sky Sports: "We have to look into it carefully but it was not funny to watch it.

"I guess that Nico had a brake problem, so he went long and Lewis was pushed to the outside. But why they hit each other afterwards I do not understand yet."
