Both Carlos Sainz and Felipe Massa pit, ditching the super-softs for softs and return to the track 19th and 18th respectively. That worked well for Massa.

Felipe Massa is getting picked apart here. Moments after Fernando Alonso overtook him, he's just watched Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen make successful passes on him.

Rio Haryanto is clipped by his team-mate Pascal Wherlein and a bit of the former's front wing, which bounces down a bit of the track.
Meanwhile, Sergio Perez has lost a lot of places. He is down in 15th, having started the race ninth.

Lewis Hamilton is stretching out his lead as he moves two seconds clear of Max Verstappen. Behind the Red Bull is Daniel Ricciardi, with Nico Rosberg fourth and Sebastian Vettel fifth.

Replays of the start highlight a superb, daring move by Max Verstappen as he nips around the outside of Daniel Ricciardo down into Turn One. The wheels almost touch but Verstappen scrapes through.

Rosberg was very, very slow. He has to recover to try to get into second before he can even look at the rear wing of Hamilton.

Nico Rosberg is biting back. He is wheel-to-wheel with Daniel Ricciardo coming out of the hairpin but the Australian holds onto the third.
