    Both Carlos Sainz and Felipe Massa pit, ditching the super-softs for softs and return to the track 19th and 18th respectively. That worked well for Massa.

    Felipe Massa is getting picked apart here. Moments after Fernando Alonso overtook him, he's just watched Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen make successful passes on him.

    Lewis Hamilton is heading further off into the distance - 3.5s between him and Max Verstappen, who is struggling with his tyres.

    Rio Haryanto is clipped by his team-mate Pascal Wherlein and a bit of the former's front wing, which bounces down a bit of the track.

    Meanwhile, Sergio Perez has lost a lot of places. He is down in 15th, having started the race ninth.

    "Just remember the plan for the first four laps," comes the message over the radio to Nico Rosberg.

    Hamilton is the big winner there with clean acceleration off the line. He needed to get the first few metres right and he did that.

    Rosberg was very, very slow. He has to recover to try to get into second before he can even look at the rear wing of Hamilton.

    Nico Rosberg is biting back. He is wheel-to-wheel with Daniel Ricciardo coming out of the hairpin but the Australian holds onto the third. 

    "Someone hit me," says Felipe Massa. He's currently 10th.
