It's almost two hours since second practice finished and, as I have to go home at some point, it's time to bring our live coverage to an end for the day.
Technical issues means that we are unable to bring you Andrew Benson's report just yet but I'll some up the key points to come from today in my next entry...
Final practice gets under way at 11:00 BST on Saturday, with qualifying at 14:00 BST. Live commentary on both will be available online.

Image source, Getty ImagesMeanwhile, Max Verstappen is confident Red Bull can find the little bit more they might need to put a car on pole.
"Yeah it was a positive day for us, maybe the second practice could have been a bit better but we are still more or less there," he said.
"For sure on this track four tenths is nothing, if you find a little bit of a better balance you get more confidence in the car and you get the lap time."
Stay away from those chicken wings, Max. The little bit of extra weight could prove the difference...
Daniel Ricciardo was fourth fastest in second practice, one place behind his Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen.
"We had to work for it today, we can find a few things tonight," he said. "Where we are is pretty good considering where I feel we can be with the car.
"There is still a lot more we can get out of it. So if we find that, then we will be looking alright tomorrow. But it is close as predicted -- three teams all there within half a second."
Lewis Hamilton has just been speaking to Sky Sports about his troubled second practice. He seems to suggest the issue that cut short his running is just a small thing.
"It's just another Friday," he added. "At least one car got the information and that's the main thing. We are quick. It looks like it could be close between ourselves and the Ferraris."
Well then. A whole lot of nakedness from Nico Rosberg here...

The evidence of the day was that Mercedes are not struggling in the same way as they did last year in Singapore, when their previously dominant car was more than a second off the pace of Ferrari and Red Bull.
But, considering the long 3.15-mile lap, the margin between the world champions and their closest challengers is much smaller than normal.
Verstappen was 0.380secs off Rosberg’s pace, with Ricciardo just 0.025secs further adrift after recovering from a spin during which he brushed the wall without major damage.
Verstappen was running a Renault engine upgrade which will not be available to Ricciardo until Saturday and which team boss Christian Horner said was expected to be worth in the region of 0.1secs a lap.
And on race pace, Red Bull appeared to have an advantage but the picture was not completely clear.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was fifth quickest after an unconvincing qualifying simulation run, 0.7secs slower than Raikkonen and a second slower than Rosberg.
Nico Rosberg: "It’s really close between ourselves, Red Bull and Ferrari – much closer than at some other tracks. Looks like a big battle ahead."
Lewis Hamilton drove with the halo head protection device for the first time this season in first practice, and here's what he had to say about it.
"It was no real issue," he said. "I barely noticed it, to be honest – just in my mirrors, where it blocked the view slightly."

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner: "This venue plays to our strengths but Mercedes looked quick and Ferrari were up there as well. It will be a close battle this weekend, particularly tomorrow, but so far so good."
Friday ends with trouble for Lewis Hamilton after a hydraulic issue midway through second practice. On the plus side as far as Mercedes are concerned they certainly look more on it pace wise than they did last year, and it was pretty smooth sailing for Nico Rosberg.
They'll have to work hard for the win in Singapore, but at least they should be up there challenging.
