12:44 GMT 26 November 2016Lewis Hamilton has been king of qualifying this season, having beaten his team-mate to pole position on 11 occasions, with Nico Rosberg taking top spot on the grid eight times.
Hamilton did his practice start from the grid from pole yesterday. Confident he can grab a 12th today?

Chief F1 writer in Abu DhabiAll weekend the talk has been about Lewis Hamilton and what he needs to do to try to beat Nico Rosberg to the title. Should he back him up into the Red Bulls? Should he do this, should he do that, etc. The one that has not really been considered is Rosberg taking pole and disappearing into the distance. There would be a certain poetic justice about that, after all the comments Hamilton has made about being the faster driver and feeling like he is the champion “in my heart”.
Hamilton has had an edge over Rosberg all weekend on the timing sheets but in both second and third practice it has been clear that the German has not got in the ideal lap.
Could he have something up his sleeve?

12:29 GMT 26 November 2016Do we really have to say goodbye to Felipe Massa and Jenson Button?
Will someone jump out and say it's all just a joke and they will still be part of F1 next season?
They've both been a part of F1 for almost all my time following the sport. Here's hoping that everything goes swimmingly for them in qualifying and tomorrow's race.

Chief F1 writer in Abu DhabiCould a Red Bull mix it with the Mercedes this weekend and upset Nico Rosberg’s smooth run to the title? We’ve been here before with this question and the hope always seems to evaporate into the mist. In qualifying, Mercedes will be untouchable. In the race? Well, Red Bull were competitive on the race runs on Friday afternoon. But how much had Mercedes turned their engines down?
Max Verstappen said: “A positive day! Always room for improvement, but so far I'm happy with the balance of the car and the race pace.” Could he and Daniel Ricciardo be a thorn in Rosberg’s side?
They’ll certainly be trying.

Gavin Richardson: Top 3 drivers: 1. Hamilton 2. Verstappen 3. Ricciardo
Top 3 flops: Vettel 2. Kvyat 3. Gutierrez
Seamus in Warsaw: If you have the massive built-in advantage of Merc/Ham/Ros and you don't 1-2 every race, you UNDERachieve - so all 3 top those lists.

12:09 GMT 26 November 2016If you have aspirations of winning this race, then you better qualify on the front row. Only once has it been won from behind that position, when Kimi Raikkonen took victory in 2012 having started the race fourth.
He could hardly contain his excitement about winning as well...

11:35 GMT 26 November 2016A title has been won in Abu Dhabi today.
Charles Leclerc, who has taken part in a couple of practice sessions for Haas this season, has won the GP3 championship.
How long before we see him get a seat in Formula 1?

11:31 GMT 26 November 2016I am curious to see how many people select Nico Rosberg and, straight off the bat, Len has gone for the championship leader as his best driver of the season. We've both agreed on our second and third choices though.
Keep them coming...
