On the evidence of what we have seen Mercedes have the one lap pace and Lewis Hamilton has been the quickest out of him and Nico Rosberg in all three practice sessions - so Hamilton pole for me.

And that's it. Practice sessions in 2016 are over and they sign off with an unusual sight of a non-Mercedes topping the pile. Neither Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg did a full on qualifying simulation run, though, as they worked on ironing out a few creases. Ferrari, though, do look like they may have genuine pace here.

"Need to check the brakes, I'm having an issue," says Lewis Hamilton. Back to the pits he goes and he won't be improving on his time.

Felipe Massa spins at low speed after creeping through Turns five and six as Max Verstappen improves to go second quickest with 1:40.912. Kimi Raikkonen is up into P3 after a 1:40.999.

Both Mercedes are coming back out now on used ultrasofts that are six laps old. Doesn't look like they will be pushing for an improvement, but Max Verstappen is on fresh ultrasofts.

Sergio Perez jumps into sixth after a 1:41.885 on his second lap on the ultrasofts. No changes further up the order, with Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg - first, second and third respectively - in the pits as we enter the final couple of minutes.

Sebastian Vettel has a near empty track to do his qualifying simulation run and he goes quickest of all with a 1:40.775, two tenths quicker than Lewis Hamilton. Could they be in the mix here?

Only one driver hasn't set a competitive lap time - Carlos Sainz. He had a spin earlier.

After Daniil Kvyat's troubles yesterday, it's been a frustrating weekend so far for Toro Rosso.

No improvements for either Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg on their second laps on the ultrasofts so that 1:41.065 by Hamilton remains the benchmark time.
