Lovely reaction by Lance Stroll in the pre-podium room.

"That was a close one, buddy," he tells Valtteri Bottas with a huge beaming smile.

Three genuinely delighted men on that podium today.

"Well done mate! Great job today!" the Red Bull team tells Daniel Ricciardo from the pit wall.

"Holy *beep*," - says the smiley Aussie with an audible grin..

He then tails off into a wry laugh, which I think is how we all feel.

I'm not going to lie, I love F1 but it's been hard to maintain that love in recent times.

Days like this remind me exactly what there is to love about this sport: drama, great racing and a good dollop of pure human emotion and frailty.

    A brilliant afternoon in Baku.

    Just what F1 needed.

Bottas takes Stroll on the line!!!!!

    That is utterly incredible.

Bottas blasted up behind Stroll on the long drag to the line and took second place by 0.105s

This race has had it all and just a little bit more besides.

"Ah man,he got me!" says a pained Stroll.

He has absolutely nothing to beat himself up about though - a brilliant, controlled and mature drive by the Canadian teenager.

Adam: The question of today how the earth can you get away with driving in to someone with just 10 sec pen.

Morgwn C Davies: How can Vettell have only a 10 second penalty for deliberating turning into Hamilton?

Fissuh Hailu: Vettel shoud have been banned from this race and punished 10 points. What is 10 seconds stop penalty for such a stupidity?

Bottas now to within 2.6s of Stroll. Two laps to go.

Ricciardo will win this barring any dramas.

He's retired once and he's done so again.

Raikkonen parks his battered and bruised Ferrari up with three laps remaining.
