I've just been down to Haas to ask if they could fix Kevin Magnussen's suspension and has it done any damage to the gear box?

The unfortunate reply I got was, "he's done"...

"There is already some vibration on these tyres..." says Hamilton in a gloomy sounding voice.

It doesn't stop him from going quickest of all, though, as he does a 1:05.238 to move three tenths clear of Sebastian Vettel.

    Hamilton is on ultra-softs, however.

That is a good run from Sebastian Vettel but he still has a little way to go before he reaches his peak. Although that time will send him through to Q2.

The clouds can develop here very quickly - you can get rain on one part of the circuit very quickly and the teams will not just be looking at their radar forecasts, they will also be physically looking outside at the sky over the back end of the circuit.
