Right, I think we're done here for now. That was a superb qualifying session and a truly sublime effort by Sebastian Vettel to take his fourth career pole position in Singapore.

The German loves this place and it you'll get short odds on him winning tomorrow and with it re-taking the lead in the world championship.

That said, those Red Bulls clearly cannot be discounted. They topped every practice session and the 0.3s gap to the lead Ferrari might well be the consequence of the Scuderia turning their engine up.

Red Bull clearly fancy their chances in race trim, so tomorrow should be a rare old ding-dong. Bring it on.

We'll have all the build-up for you from 11:30 BST. See you then.

Mercedes go into some strange, mysterious place at this track, and Lewis Hamilton starting fifth is a very painful place for him.

Brilliant performance by Vettel. He's great on this circuit and he's just proved it once again.

Clean, tidy and totally committed. I think Ferrari were playing with their rivals in practice and now they've delivered.

We've just seen a replay of Sebastian Vettel hitting the wall on that quick run - that was a supreme effort by the German driver in the Ferrari.

He's got a record four wins around here - who would bet against him making it five tomorrow?
