Vettel is going to have to be extremely fortunate if he is going to get that second place.
Unless there is a problem for Verstappen and Bottas then the title is going to Hamilton.

Another fastest lap for Sebastian Vettel.
"What position do I need," asks Lewis Hamilton.
"Vettel is currently P5 and he needs P2," says Mercedes.
"Is that possible for him? asks Hamilton.
"Negative, Valtteri is currently P2," Hamilton is reassured.

These are uncharted waters for Vettel. We are racing at altitude and as a result the air density is much less.
In practice the drivers had to coast because the brakes were not cooling enough.
I imagine there will be a few nervous engineers at Ferrari right now. Have they got their cooling calculations correct?

Sho Rahman: Lewis was miles behind Vandoorne there and still overtook him. That McLaren is pathetic.
Lewis Hamilton is closing in on the points as he moves past Stoffel Vandoorne into 11th.
Felipe Massa is currently 10th, while Sebastian Vettel has just had the jump on Massa's Williams team-mate Lance Stroll to move up to fifth.

Hamilton still out of the points at the moment in 12th. If he can haul himself up to ninth then Sebastian Vettel must win the race or bust.
Vettel's next target is Lance Stroll, currently sitting fifth in his Williams.

That was a very, very, aggressive late brake overtake from Sebastian Vettel.
Another one chalked off for Sebastian Vettel. He leaves it late on the corner, then dives inside the Force India of home favourite Sergio Perez. The home fans are not too happy by that one, but Vettel will not care about that. He is now sixth.

If Vettel comes second, then Hamilton needs to come in the top nine.
If Vettel finishes third or worse (he is currently seventh) then Hamilton is the world champion.
Do not go anywhere. The drama is not done with by a long way.

Andy White: You win over a season. It's not important where Lewis finishes as long as he is champion. It is world titles not where you finish.

Vettel is going to sail past Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll and get to Esteban Ocon. Raikkonen will let him past but there is still a 24 second gap from Raikkonen to Bottas (who is currently second).
"We are forecast for P8," Lewis Hamilton is told by his team.
That will still be enough for Hamilton to win the title, unless Sebastian Vettel can win the race, although he is only seventh at the moment.

Still a glorious day for Force India so far. Esteban Ocon is fourth, with Sergio Perez, who is being chased down by Sebastian Vettel, in sixth.
