Lap 17/66
Daniel Ricciardo believes he is faster than Max Verstappen, and tells Red Bull that. Both drivers will have to be on best behaviour after their coming together in Baku.
"Just look at maintaining that gap," he is told. "Think about saving the tyres in the high speed corners to maintain that gap."
Ricciardo is sixth, 2.2 seconds behind Verstappen in fifth.

BBC Radio 5 live sports extra
Nico Hulkenberg, who was involved in that first lap incident tells BBC Radio 5 live sports extra what happens. He says: "I got crashed into, Romain spun, came back into the track, I couldn't go anywhere, couldn't avoid him and he took the back end of my car, there was nothing I could do.
"He (Grosjean) didn't look great in that scenario, generally he likes spinning, but on the first lap is not a good time to do it with everyone there. He has to look at it and do some work on himself."

Hulkenberg on Grosjean: "It doesn’t look great in that scenario. Generally he likes spinning a lot during the weekend but lap one is not a good time to do it."
Ouch

"What is the forecast? It is quite dark at Turn 9," asks Fernando Alonso. The two-time world champion is on super-softs - the only driver who is - and he might be getting concerned that they are heading towards the end of their usefulness.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton is now six seconds clear of Sebastian Vettel.
Lap 12/66
Esteban Ocon fancies a nibble at Fernando Alonso but it's going to take something special to get the better of the wily McLaren driver. There's just seven tenths between the two, with Alonso holding on to 10th place.
Lap 12/66
Fish Hailu: Unless Mercedes get their strategy wrong, this is guaranteed win for Lewis Hamilton. He is having a blast. C'mon boy.
Chelsea Warrior: You can just tell that the cars are struggling with getting the grip from the #SpanishGP, external track. Expect more crashes.
Lap 11/66
Haas can still get a good result here, despite Romain Grosjean 'oh fudge' moment at the start of the race. Kevin Magnussen is currently seventh with Daniel Ricciardo 4.7s ahead of him.
Lap 10/66
Stoffel Vandoorne has been handed a five-second time penalty for going the wrong side of a marker bollard at Turn Two. He's currently down in 14th.

The top three are immediately spreading out. Can Sebastian Vettel stick with Lewis Hamilton?
Lap 9/66
Lewis Hamilton does a 1:21.631 as he works on building up a decent advantage over Sebastian Vettel. That's a new lap record here.
Vettel is three seconds down the road with Valtteri Bottas a further two seconds back.

Reece Young: That is stupid from @RGrosjean, external. Use your brake not your accelerator when spinning. Caused a huge crash and put 3 cars out. Surely a big punishment for that? Crashed behind the safety car last race. Crashed on the opening lap this race. I foresee a sacking in the near future.
ShogunNoire: Harsh as it may seem, if I were Haas, I'd be looking to terminate Grosjean's contract and get someone else in. Maybe pilfer Kubica from Williams.
Lap 8/66
Brilliant move by Fernando Alonso on the restart as he immediately dives around the outside of Esteban Ocon at Turn Three.
Ocon won't have seen a thing!
Lap 7/66
The safety car heads in and Lewis Hamilton slams the foot down the accelerator, swiftly building up a one second lead over Sebastian Vettel. Perfect restart.
I get the feeling Romain Grosjean will be keeping his helmet on for a while. He won't fancy talking to anyone just yet.
Lap 6/66
Lap 5/66
Charles Leclerc was the big winner of that chaotic start, jumping up to ninth.
Fernando Alonso, meanwhile, has dropped down to 11th.
Lap 4/66
The drivers are weaving from side to side, getting heat into their tyres. Looks like the safety car will be in at the end of this lap.
Lewis Hamilton leads but will have Sebastian Vettel uncomfortably close behind him.
