Renault are going to start 11th and 12th on the tyres of their choice and everyone else will be thinking we didn't need to go out on the hypersofts.
Renault and the strategists have played a blinder.
No change in the top five.
Stephen Taylor: Red Bull made a total farce of Q1. Why look to get through when you will start at the back anyway?
Jarryd Mann: Stroll is simply rubbish. How this guy has a seat in F1 is simply staggering. Glad his old fella has a tonne of cash.

If Renault don't leave the pits they are 11th and 12th and have the best choice of tyres.

Q2 - What's happened to Ferrari?
Smelling salts. Popular for waking up unconscious people, but for those who don't know, smelling salts are a common occurrence in weight lifting and boxing.
Before a lift, have a sniff of this and it's supposed to open up your airways and give you the extra boost you need to finish the job - it nearly always works.
It smells like dead things, and it's completely legal.

The top 5 for now are:
1. Hamilton
2. Bottas
3. Verstappen
4. Ricciardo
5. Raikkonen
"I spun the car guys," says Sergey Sirotkin, who is out in Q1 in his home race.
Q1
16. Hartley
17. Alonso
18. Sirotkin
19. Vandoorne
20. Stroll
Q1
A worrying moment then for Nico Hulkenberg. He finishes Q1 in 15th, but only just managed to save himself.
Sirotkin in the barriers. No crash, but it doesn't look great for his lap times.

The Red Bulls look pretty quick but they are starting at the back which will be a slight relief to Ferrari.
Q1
30 seconds to go
The same five remain in the drop zone, while Hamilton leads.
The Red Bulls have now set times, placing them high up at third and fourth. Behind the two Mercedes drivers.
But don't forget, Red Bull will be starting near the back tomorrow after penalties for replacing their engines.
