Kubica was two laps down, he is now one lap down. Still last of everyone left.

Only Bottas is out of this one but that safety car has absolutely thrown this race into doubt.

All the top five will now think they have a chance here. Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel, Albon, Leclerc. This could be a surprising and thrilling penultimate race we have on our hands now.

    Don't go anywhere!

Max Verstappen appears to be the spokesperson for slowing down in safety incidents.

After not doing so in Mexico don't forget.

I'm still amazed that was a full safety car to be honest.

That safety car is very good news for Charles Leclerc. He started 14th, is now fifth and has some fresh tyres. He could well still be in contention for a very unlikely podium.

Max Verstappen jumps into the pits, as does Charles Leclerc. Free pit stops. It does mean Hamilton leads, but Verstappen on the fresher tyres is going to try to chase him down.

  16. Bottas out - yellow flagpublished at 18:17 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2019

    Lap 54/71

That's our first faller today. Valtteri Bottas, with smoke coming from the back of his Mercedes, pulls over to the side of the track. He is able to leave it in as safe a place as possible although we are still under that yellow flag.

He's still got pace at the moment but that is clear blue smoke coming out of the back of that Mercedes, it hasn't gone bang yet and he's still in the slipstream of Charles Leclerc. Will he make an overtake?

That answer is definitely still no. Bottas is in trouble.

Bottas locks up after trying to overtake Leclerc, and makes a mess of it.

He second guessed himself and nearly ended up wiping out the Ferrari, that one was on a plate for him.
