Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who finished eighth: "We were just slow. There is not much more to add to that. I put myself in the best position possible but just struggling so much with the car.
"We need to work and try to understand because some races we are not competitive in qualy and now seem to do a good job in qualy but struggle massively in the race."
Team-mate Sebastian Vettel who finished tenth: "Obviously I don't remember doing so many starts in one day. I am not a big fan of that rule. If you are on the right side of the track it is a huge advantage. If you are on the dirty side I don't think it is fair. I think we should focus on cars that can overtake not throwing in the lottery."

Carlos Sainz on the pit-straight crash: "Properly scary. Everyone in front of me felt we were racing. Suddenly it looks like we were not anymore. Everyone started braking. When I realised it was too late and a big crash."
Kevin Magnussen: "Someone in the middle decided to go. Maybe someone tried to open the gap to get that momentum over the line and went too early. We were flat out for at least a few seconds and suddenly they all braked."
What an epic race. It feels like the first start was about three weeks ago. If you, like me, are struggling to remember everything that happened, click over here to Andrew Benson's race report.
And you can also find out who scoops Andrew's driver of the day decision... It was a tough one.
More from Lewis Hamilton, speaking to Sky Sports: "Definitely one of the craziest races I have had. Three races in one day. I am pretty exhausted to be honest. Obviously I didn't do a good start first time. The second start was better. I had a seven second gap and was pretty comfortable with that gap. Then another one.
"Anything can happen from those starts. If I made any mistakes he would have had the slipstream on me on the straight. Physically and mentally it was one of the hardest days I have experienced
"It is an incredible circuit. I would like to come back."
Lewis Hamilton is reunited with his dog Roscoe in the paddock. Hamilton gives Roscoe are hearty slap on the side.

Renault's Daniel Ricciardo asked if F1 should return to Mugello on Sky Sports: "It was not a dull race" That is what we feared and we got the opposite. We will definitely come back."
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, speaking to Sky Sports about Alex Albon's first podium: "I am really pleased for him. He has bounded back the last couple weekends. He has been getting stronger and stronger. He had to really fight for it. The starts were pretty horrible. He is Mr Round the Outside.
"His placement of the car is really very good. Daniel is a hard guy to pass.
"It is a disadvantage that he is too nice. When he puts the helmet on there is a real racer. It is different thinking you can do it to knowing it. This podium for him will give him a boost of confidence. I think he will build from here nicely."
Sixth-placed Lando Norris speaking to Sky Sports: "We avoided the carnage and got some points. We weren't anything like P6 on pace.
"Everyone was concertina-ing. It was racing driver's instinct, you always want to get the jump. The further back you go the bigger it happens."
Lewis Hamilton looks locked on for his seventh world title....
1. Lewis Hamilton 190 points
2. Valtteri Bottas 135
3. Max Verstappen 110
4. Lando Norris 65
5. Alex Albon 63
Winner Lewis Hamilton: "It was all a bit of daze. It was like three races in one day. Just incredibly tough today. This track is phenomenal and the heat and keeping Valtteri behind was not easy.
"All those restarts total focus was needed. It was really, really hard. Valtteri appeared out of nowhere when I saw Danny was behind. I didn't want him to have DRS. My heart is racing. It is crazy to be here and to have 90 grand prixs.
"Justice for Breonna Taylor."
Second-placed Valtteri Bottas: "Disappointing. It was a dream start for me. The start was really good and I managed to hold my position at the safety car restart. It seemed like there was never an opportunity once I lost the position at the second start. That is how it goes. I will just keep pushing and keep trying to get better. It has to turn out well for me at some point."
Third-placed Alex Albon: "It was good obviously it is a while to get here but it was a tough one. I had to work for it. I am happy. I can breathe. It is nice to be here. It was brutal, especially the high speed in sector two. It is more adrenaline going in my body than anything else. I am happy. We couldn't get off the line so most overtakes had to be on circuit. We can do moves like that. It is fun to drive."
Under the watchful eye of Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff, Lewis Hamilton stands to attention on the top step of the podium. The British and German national anthems blare out in the evening sunlight.
Hamilton wins Tuscan Grand Prix
Sho: Bottas had 3 standing starts today along with multiple safety cars to win this race. I mean really what more do you want?
AGL: Mad race, lots of action but not a whole lot of overtaking as predicted. Think most of the positions were won at the end of that main straight or due to crashes.
Peter M: Breaking news: Cyril Abeiteboul breaks world record for biggest sigh of relief ever recorded.
If you're not aware, Renault boss Cyril Abeiteboul has to get a tattoo if Daniel Ricciardo achieves a podium finish this season before he leaves for McLaren. Abeiteboul can pick the size and placement of the inking but it's Ricciardo who will choose the design!
