Race red flagged after Stroll crash

Dragon Censer: Mugello can definitely replace Monaco every year, at least we can overtake here!

Koome erick: Dear F1 management, it's in front of your eyes, Mugello is what you have been looking for. Stamp it in the calendar if possible, twice a year!

Bence: This Tuscan GP is becoming an Indy 500. They drive around a lot and the track selects a winner.

  3. Raikkonen under investigationpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 13 September 2020

Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen is under the stewards' microscope after a late duck into the pitlane while the safety car was out.

The drivers will be loving this track. It is old school. It is a proper circuit. I think it has been a great success.

It has been a great race. The Mercedes have been cantering away from everyone. Hamilton has had it easy. Bottas has not been able to fight but he will now have a second chance.

The race for third has been great and will continue to be.

Session stopped due to Stroll crash

Bala B: Do we have enough time for a restart with the two hour time limit for races or does that not apply for red flag races?

Graham Hartley: will the race now be in danger of timing out before all laps completed?

Deeda: I mean this is one way for Ferrari to have a red car leading their 1000th GP! What an incredible first Tuscan GP! Who is actually going to finish this race? Will we see the safety car again? How many more race starts will we have??

The drivers are out of their cars chatting to team staff.

What will Valtteri Bottas make of his chances? He will have the second slot on the grid. That is where first he and then Lewis Hamilton got the best starts in the TWO standing starts we have ALREADY had in the race.

    Hamilton leads from Bottas

Richard Cassidy: It may be 1000 GPs for Ferrari but this one surely can’t end soon enough. Or for that matter the entire season. Ouch.

Ben: Get Ricciardo on the podium!

Doug: Mercedes desperately need a driver that is willing and capable of going toe to toe with Lewis. Valtteri just seems unable almost scared off going toe to toe.

Les Twigg: Will the safety car have done enough laps to be classed as a finisher?

Karen Waddy: Can we come back to Tuscany next year please?!
