  1. Albon spinspublished at Lap 35/58

Alexander Albon flings it around when there was no-one near him. He finds a wet spot and loses it, with Lewis Hamilton accepting the present for third.

We've still got a long way to go, but Hamilton could be winning the world title and still winning this race. You really wouldn't bet against it. Only the two Racing Points are ahead of him and the track is drying.

Albon is still in the race and at fourth.

There is a long time left in this race. Getting these tyres to last until the end seems too much of a stretch. I think we are 10 laps from a slick gamble.

Tamuno: DRS enabled. Things are about to get interesting...more interesting.

  5. Postpublished at Lap 32/58

Max Verstappen's potential pitlane infringement - of crossing the white line - is going to be investigated after the race. Don't know why we have to wait, but we do. He's currently eighth and has been at every position from first to eighth.

"I don't think there is going to be a transition [to hard tyres]. It is slippery as hell out here."

  7. Postpublished at 11:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2020

So, so nice to be in the second half of a race where we still have absolutely no idea who's going to win.

The slippery conditions have been heavily criticised by the drivers but my word we've got a race on as a result.

  8. Postpublished at Lap 31/58

Charles Leclerc was ninth and he moves on to a new set of inters.

For the first time today, DRS is enabled. That's a sign we're getting drier. You're going to have to be brave to use it to attempt a passing move in these conditions. Anyone fancy it? Max? Daniel?

We've only had two non-Mercedes winners this season and on one of those occasions, when Pierre Gasly won the Italian Grand Prix, Lance Stroll had a chance for the win, but that vanished when he went straight on just after a restart following a safety car, with him finishing third.

That was Stroll's joint best ever finish after also coming third in Azerbaijan in 2017 when at Williams.

We're at the halfway point and Stroll is going to be starting to dream. He started at the front and he's still there.

Hamilton has dropped three seconds back from Vettel so is maybe just conserving tyres.

Norris dives down the inside of George Russell, who says he was forced off the road. The two talented young Brits are 11th and 12th respectively.

Norris celebrated his 21st birthday a couple of days ago. A points finish would be a nice late gift after he began 15th because of a five-place grid drop yesterday for not slowing under yellow flags.

Stroll ahead of Perez and Albon

Gavin Button: Perez may see a victory ahead, I imagine the team will try to tell him not to race Stroll but does he play the team game or look to make himself look like a hero, surely he has nothing to lose?

Mark Richings: Nightmare for Bottas and Verstappen!! Albon is gonna take it now!! If the race ever ends!!

Rob Hill: This isn't so much a race as it is an assault course.

  20. Postpublished at Lap 26/58

Quite a few races have been as dull as anything with the leader, usually Lewis Hamilton, driving into the distance. Anyone could win this today.

Well, not Antonio Giovinazzi, he's out, but you know what I mean.
