My left front is completely grained.

  2. Postpublished at Lap 11/58

Charles Leclerc's lead over Max Verstappen is nudging towards three seconds.

After a good start, Lewis Hamilton looks like he's carrying a few sacks of potatoes in his cockpit now with George Russell, Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo closing up behind him.

Further back Sebastian Vettel goes off the track but just manages to keep it out of the barrier.

That was exactly what Red Bull needed. Sergio Perez has cleared Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes, just showing the clear pace differentials between those two cars. Not a lot Lewis could have done about that.

  4. Perez retakes third from Hamiltonpublished at Lap 10/58

Here comes the tussle between Hamilton and Perez...

The Briton holds him off at the first attempt but can do nothing when Perez comes again with DRS to help him.

The Red Bull is back into third.

  5. Postpublished at Lap 9/58

Crucially, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc has pulled out of DRS range just as it comes into play.

Hamilton, who has Perez all over his rear, has dropped four seconds back from Verstappen.

Lewis Hamilton is doing a massive favour for Ferrari and Charles Leclerc at the moment, just by being in the way and not letting Red Bull's Sergio Perez through into that third-place spot. This is a delight for Ferrari right now.

  7. Postpublished at Lap 8/58

Max Verstappen is unable to put any pressure on Charles Leclerc who looks the quicker right now. Those two are pulling away from Lewis Hamilton who may have got himself into third but is by no means in the car he'd want. In turn, Hamilton is holding up Sergio Perez behind him.

Charles Leclerc gets a good restart, putting his foot to the floor nice and early.

    Verstappen can't get near him.

The safety car is coming in at the end of this lap. Can Max Verstappen put some pressure on Charles Leclerc at the front?

That hard tyre has longevity, which means it might be able to make it to the end. Aston Martin had to roll the dice - let's hope it [pitting early] works out for them.

  12. Postpublished at Lap 5/58

Aston Martin have taken an interesting gamble. Lance Stroll, who started 19th, has come in for two early pit stops while this safety car is out. He's now used both sets of tyres and doesn't have to stop again - if he can make it to the end.

We've just seen a replay of Carlos Sainz's start. He went nowhere. His race started badly and has got even worse.

He's still sat in his car as the crane arrives to remove his Ferrari.

Carlos Sainz had the pace to match his team-mate in the early stages of qualifying, but it has gone from bad to worse for him since then.

We'll have to see a replay of what caused that Sainz spin. I don't think there was contact.

It's a massive blow for Ferrari. He's beached in the gravel.
