No podium finish for Lewis Hamilton in Jeddah but the seven-time world champion has given a message to his Mercedes team: "We are not where we want to be but we will get there, let’s keep pushing."

I think this would be his (Perez) best win but he's kept there, he's had fastest lap, he's kept up the pace and he's had a great job at managing his tyres.

Bit of confusion as to what exactly Fernando Alonso is being penalised for. Aston Martin are next on the radio to tell the Spaniard if he can bump his speed up a bit and increase the gap to over five seconds to George Russell in fourth, that would be grand.

The end is in sight for Sergio Perez. The Mexican only has a few laps left and that victory over team-mate Max Verstappen is in the bag.

George Russell has been told on the radio that Fernando Alonso is facing a five-second time penalty. But for what? ...

Clearly not happy, he (Tsunoda) knows that's him out of the points but Magnussen's got strong pace as he's already pulled a 1.3 second lap from Tsunoda.

Haas team principal Guenther Steiner won't need any blue language tonight thanks to Kevin Magnussen. The Dane has been hustling the Alpha Tauri of Yuki Tsunoda and finally makes his move to lift himself into the points in 10th place.

That is disappointing from the McLarens, with Lando again, how long does he stay there with McLaren, a bit like Leclerc, he feels like he should be much further up than he is, so how long does he sit there?

Yuki Tsunoda is under pressure from Kevin Magnussen for 10th spot but the Alpha Tauri man needs that point after finishing 11th in Bahrain two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Lando Norris is having to swat away his rookie team-mate Oscar Piastri over at McLaren.

Bottom of the pile is Valtteri Bottas and to make matters worse, the Finn wants his Alfa Romeo pit wall to take a look at his car.

Sergio Perez is so close now to converting his pole position into a Jeddah victory. The Mexican banks another purple marker for fastest lap with a time in the 1:32s.
