All good things must come to an end.

We have to travel all the way back to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in November 2022 to find a race where a driver other than a Red Bull man stood on the top step of the podium.

That day, it was George Russell and Mercedes celebrating the Briton's maiden Formula 1 victory.

Carlos Sainz is back on pole position for the second race weekend in a row and is aiming to convert his Singapore front-row spot into a first victory of the 2023 campaign.

Red Bull have struggled so far this weekend and with Max Verstappen - who secured his 10th consecutive win and a new F1 record at Monza - starting 11th and his team-mate Sergio Perez stuck down in 13th, surely there will be no better opportunity for a new race winner than today?
