For Jim's Giants, playing today in Manchester, the People's Cup has been an opportunity to bring the family together in memory of their father and Grandfather, Jim Lister, who suffered a devastating stroke 12 years before his passing in 2013.

The team is made up of some of Jim's children and grandchildren: Kevin Lister (43), Kieran Lister (28), Thomas Taylor (17), Sean Swarbrick (16), Ryan Lister (19) and team mascot, Ted Lister (4).

The tournament has inspired the family to get back into football as part of a healthier lifestyle. They hope to keep Jim's Giants going, regardless of today's result, to keep the family together and raise money for the Stroke Association.
