    So as I mentioned, some categories started their competition earlier this week with teams already booking their place in the next round.

    A number of various disability categories have begun, as well as the higher education section.

    We've got reporters out and about tonight bringing you the action from across the country BUT we need your help.

    We need you to tell us what is going on with your team at your event.

    So tonight teams in two categories start their FA People's Cup campaign - Under-14 Boys and Under-16 Boys - while a few began their journey over the last few days.

    Here is what is coming up over the weekend:

    Friday 

    • 18:30:  Under-14 Boys, Under-16 Boys 

    Saturday

    • 10:30: Adult females, Female Vets
    • 14:30: Male Vets, Walking Football 

    Sunday

    • 10:30: Under-14 girls, Under-16 girls
    • 14:30: Adult Male

    The nation's biggest five-a-side competition that's what.

    Today is the start of round one of the FA People's Cup.

    Over the weekend 6,000 teams will compete across 16 categories from Under-14 girls to Walking Football, Disability to Adult Male.

    What are they all playing for? The chance to lift the FA People's Cup trophy at Wembley at half-time in the FA Cup final in May.

    We'll have a live text commentary across the weekend bringing you the action from our reporters on the ground up and down the country, goals, saves, your thoughts and the stories behind the teams taking part.

    Last year over 35,000 of you took part but now we're back bigger and better than ever.

    We have broken the 40,000 participant barrier with over 6,000 teams playing at 178 venues across the country.

    They're all playing for the chance to lift the FA People's Cup trophy at Wembley.
