Incredible stuff. This Higher Education Female final has not disappointed. The Nottingham player latches onto the loose ball and slots home with composure to pull her side level once again.

Don't forget you can watch the climax of this one at the top of this page.

Wockey level this final up again.

    Yes they can!

And what a stunning little strike this is, silky dribbling matched by a velvet finish.

    Advantage Notts.

    Lift off!

Wockey take the lead with a well-placed shot across the goalkeeper.

It results in a huge cheer from the crowd. Wockey have the loudest support I have heard all day.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:18 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Nottingham Medics 0-0 Wockey

Not much goal mouth action so far for five a-side standards.

Wockey have come the closest but the Nottingham 'keeper stuck out a big right hand.

The semis are underway in the Men's Higher Education category, with Bangor facing Pathetico Madrid, before My Friends play Filthy Fellas.

The standard looks pretty high in this one, looking forward to the final later.

Liberties have sealed victory in the Male Veterans category but I reckon this goal in the game between White Horse and Team Full of Carraghers is in with a shout of goal of the day.

Rightio. Congrats to Liberties. They've defended their People's Cup titles.

What is going on elsewhere I hear you ask. Well....

  16. champagne moment

CHAMPAGNE MOMENTpublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Liberties Vets 1-0 Harraby Catholic

Well that was a tense one!

All hugs at the final whistle, but Liberties Vets will know they should have made that easier for themselves there. They looked a very impressive outfit.

Nevertheless, they'll be drinking in the applause at Wembley in a couple of months time.

  17. CLOSE!published at 17:54 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Liberties Vets 1-0 Harraby Catholic

    Liberties nearly pay!

Twice Harraby hit rasping efforts. But twice the Liberties 'keeper pulls out good stops.

They look a good team from front to back.

  18. Postpublished at 17:52 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Liberties Vets 1-0 Harraby Catholic

More profligacy from the defending champs!

Brilliant football to carve Harraby open twice more, but they fail to hit the target.

Not long left in this one...

  19. Postpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Liberties Vets 1-0 Harraby Catholic

For all their lovely football - and it is lovely, with one-twos in the build-up - Liberties can't put the ball in the net of their own accord.

Will they pay the price for failing to capitalise on their dominance?

  20. goal

    GOAL - Boiling point!published at 17:49 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Liberties Vets 1-0 Harraby Catholic

What a way for the deadlock to be broken!

Liberties had been building the pressure, but it's a Harraby player who scores... a cracking finish unfortunately into his own net.
