We know how much fun you all have out there, and we meet brilliant people with great stories every year but it's not everyday we find out that we've changed people's lives.
Thank you to Michelle Tailor who let us know about her daughter and son who both got a lot from playing last year.
Image source, Michelle TailorLast year my daughter and her football team-mates entered the FA People's Cup. Their coach, however, didn't think they were good enough to play and was not encouraging. In fact, my daughter was so disheartened by her coach that she was going to give the game up altogether.
My son has been coaching girls teams for four years at different clubs. Not wanting his sister to give up, he decided to take the girls under his wing. He organised extra coaching sessions for them and got them excited about the tournament. All while he was also studying for his A Levels.
