    MMUCL 0-2 Aston

Benjamin Mendy's fans are the champions! A predatory performance from the Aston Sharks.

They are the FA People's Cup champions in the Female University category. And they are off to see Mendy at Wembley.

    MMUCL 0-2 Aston

    Oh silky!

MMUCL's Johan Cruyff absolutely skins the opposite. First she drags it back and rolls past the player.

Then she whips out a Cruyff turn before she's eventually stopped in her tracks.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    MMUCL 0-2 Aston

Aston are relentless. A powerful effort smacks the outside of the post. MMUCL need a late Gerard Deulofeu comeback hero.

Here's Aston practicing their 'Shark Bite Clap' pre-match.

They're certainly showing plenty of bite so far! They've raced into a 2-0 lead.

    MMUCL 0-2 Aston

The goalscorer turns provider! Aston's number 7 slots it through the middle and their number 9 makes no mistake when she's one-on-one with the keeper.

Can MMUCL come back from this? It's not looking good...

    MMUCL 0-1 Aston

The Sharks bite! Aston's number 7 is the goal hero as she slots it into the bottom right corner.

    Mo Salah would be pleased.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:29 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    MMUCL 0-0 Aston

A lovely through-ball is picked up by Aston's number 9. She makes room for herself to shoot but can't catch out the Manchester Metropolitan keeper at the far post - she's on fire!

  10. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

Aston University clearly put a lot of effort into the Sharks image.

We love this from their Twitter account, external.

    MMUCL 0-0 Aston

Aston's ball-playing centre-back looks as calm as Virgil van Dijk. She retains possession while waiting for her teammates to make their runs.

It's a very even game so far.

Heart-break for Bradford. But they have had an incredible journey in the FA People's Cup.

Here's what the Lawrence family, who have been supporting the Bradford team, said earlier today.

While these finals have been taking place, the Men's Vets and Adult Female categories have wrapped up their group games.

They have had to brave the chilling winds but the organisers have taken things inside while they add up the scores and work out who will be taking part in the semi-finals, which will be coming up later.

Where's VAR when you need it? Plymouth take the lead in the dying stages. It looked like she was in the box but the referee has given it!
