It's also been a great week for Irish amateur Leona Maguire who, having never made the cut at a British Open before, is about to get under way on the final day at Woburn knowing she has an outside shot of challenging the top few.

The 21-year-old, whose caddie is her twin sister Lisa, heads out at seven under following rounds of 71, 70 and 68 - she'll be travelling to Rio with the Ireland team next week.

England's Charley Hull now has seven birdies to her name in the final round, adding back-to-back efforts at the 11th and 12th.

Hull has just double bogeyed at the par-four 13th though, leaving the 20-year-old at seven under - nine shots behind leader Ariya Jutanugarn.

Germany's Caroline Masson is back in the clubhouse after a fine final-day 67, in which she birdied the final four holes to finish at four under.

English amateur Bronte Law caught the eye earlier in the week when she shot two rounds of 70 at Woburn.

She dropped six shots yesterday and is through the 16th at one over par on Sunday after birdies at the second and eighth where wiped out with dropped shots at the sixth, 12th and 16th.

Compatriot Charley Hull completed the front nine in 31, four strokes better off than she's been at the turn at any point this week.

She's just added another birdie to make it six today - that form coupled with no dropped shots since a bogey at the 14th yesterday has seen her climb to within eight shots of the lead at eight under.

And we have another British hopeful on course now, with Jodi Ewart Shadoff getting her final round started.

Meanwhile, world number one Lydia Ko has slipped a shot further back after a bogey at the third.

It's not all gone world number one Lydia Ko's way this week, and the 19-year-old New Zealander has had another mixed start on the final day.

Ko showed glimpses of the form that took her to the top of the women's rankings when she sunk five birdies on the back nine yesterday, but things unraveled for the teenager at the last when she double bogeyed to finish.

She bogeyed the first today, but has clawed that dropped shot back straight away at the second to remain at three under for the tournament.

Meanwhile, Charley Hull remains on track to finish with a flourish and is now up to tied 10th at seven under after a fifth birdie in her opening seven holes.

A fantastic start to the final day for Great Britain's Rio hopeful.

Make that four birdies in five holes for Charley Hull, who is up and down the 359-yard par-four fifth in three to edge closer to the top 10 at six under for the tournament.

American Kelly Shon is also enjoying a productive morning, she's three under through 11 today, while world number one Lydia Ko has just teed off to get her final round under way at Woburn.

A few notable tee times for you then. The leaders - Ariya Jutanugarn (-16) and Mirim Lee (-14) - are last out at 14:10 BST, but there's British interest in the penultimate pairing as Scotland's Catriona Matthew heads out at 10 under par from 14:00 BST.

And keep an eye out for England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff, the 28-year-old from Yorkshire is four under and due on the first tee box at 12:30 BST.

If Charley Hull is using the final day at Woburn to get her eye in for the Olympic Games, which begin next week, then the Great Britain team may well be on a medal hunt in Rio.

Although out of contention for the championship, the 20-year-old has opened on Sunday with birdie, birdie, birdie at Woburn - much to the delight of her home crowd.

That takes Hull to five under for the week, 11 shots behind leader Ariya Jutanugarn.

That's unsurprisingly the pick of the scores so far today, though spare a thought for American Vicky Hurst who is back in the clubhouse having dropped nine shots, carding two double bogeys in a round of 81.

Hurst started her tournament on Thursday with a promising 70, but has finished way back on 15 over par.

  6. Jutanugarn's major huntpublished at 10:58 British Summer Time 31 July 2016

How does it feel to head into the final day of the women's British Open looking down on the rest of the leaderboard? Just ask Ariya Jutanugarn...

The 20-year-old holds a two-stroke lead over South Korea's Mirim Lee and is bidding to become the first Thai to win a major tournament - the pair head out for the final round at Woburn at 14:10 BST.

Jutanugarn, at 16 under par, will also have an eye on the tournament record-winning score of 19 under.

She's been close to that elusive first major before, mind, but missed a chance at the ANA Inspiration earlier this season when bogeying her final three holes.

That day England's Charley Hull finished second, but the 20-year-old has been a little way off the pace this week at her home course.

It's already looking better for Rio-bound Hull today though, she's birdied the first - the same hole she fired a triple bogey on yesterday morning - and clawed another shot back at the second to climb to four under par.
