Shibuno’s nickname is the ‘smiling Cinderella’. Here she is looking for a fairytale ending.

  3. Shibuno back in leadpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Shibuno -14 (7)

Hinako Shibuno jabs in a short birdie putt to take the outright lead.

What a recovery from that double bogey earlier.

  4. 'I hit the most greens I have all year' - Hallpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Hall -3 (F)

Defending champion Georgia Hall said on Sky Sports after her round of 73:

"It wasn't too bad. The pins were quite tough and the weather wasn't the best. I'm very happy with my week overall and I've really enjoyed it.

"I couldn't believe how many people came out to watch every day. It really gave me a boost.

"I felt very nervous on the first tee on the first day but apart from that I was very relaxed. I hit the most greens I have all year this week so that's definitely a bonus.

"I'm going to Scotland for the Scottish Open - I love that. The Solheim Cup was one of the highlights of my career a couple of years ago so I'm definitely looking forward to that."

Co-leader Hinako Shibuno is being made to wait before hitting her approach to the seventh green.

Two men, who look a bit like ghostbusters with leaf blowers on their back, walk along the green blowing what is apparently seedlings from a tree out of the way.

Well that was a new one. Way to confuse a person on only their second trip out of Japan.

Shibuno seems unfazed and gets onto the green easily.

  6. Back-to-back bogeys for Lawpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Law -4 (9)

Things are going from bad to worse for Bronte Law as she reaches the halfway point.

That's her fifth bogey of the day.

  7. Ko pars eighthpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Ko -13 (8)

Ko Jin-young swings her putter in the air as her birdie attempt curves too far right. Par for the world number one as well.

  8. Par for Salaspublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Salas -13 (8)

It looked like Lizette Salas had a lot of work to do for par, but in the end she's just an inch away from a birdie. The American taps in for par.

    Ko -13, Salas -13 (7)

Ko Jin-young sets up another birdie chance with her tee shot on the eighth, but Lizette Salas might struggle for par. Her shot has landed just in the rough on the back of the green.

  11. Salas leads toopublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Salas -13 (7)

Aaaaaand Lizette Salas jumps on the 13 under train.

Are they all in sync? This is hard to keep up with.

  12. Ko joins leaderspublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Ko -13 (7)

That leaderboard is changing every minute at the moment.

Ko Jin-young just misses out on an eagle, but taps in for birdie on the seventh to get to -13 as well.

  13. Buhai shares leadpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Buhai -13 (6)

Ashleigh Buhai lands an absolutely huge, at least 40ft, birdie putt on the sixth to join Hinako Shibuno at the top of the leaderboard.

Georgia Hall hasn't managed to defend her title but she at least finishes on a high with a birdie on the 18th.

  17. Double bogey for Hullpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Hull -6 (7)

Shucks. They're scrapping it out for the lead at Woburn but now Charley Hull isn't going to join them any time soon.

The local girl has just doubled-bogeyed the par-five seventh to drop to six under.

  18. Bogey for Lawpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Law -5 (8)

Bronte Law is now +4 for the day. Not how you want to finish a home major.

The Brit has just bogeyed the eighth to move to -5.

  19. Shibuno regains leadpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Buhai -12, Shibuno -13 (5)

Golf, golf, golf... This time yesterday you would have thought Ashleigh Buhai was going to charge ahead and win this.

Now it feels like it could be almost anyone's.

The South African misses out on a chance to take the outright lead as her birdie putt comes up short on the fifth.

Hinako Shibuno has a go too and she does it! After a double bogey, the 20-year-old has somehow managed to find her way back to the lead.

  20. Five-way tie for the leadpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 4 August 2019

    Salas -12 (6)

Maybe not such a straightforward par putt for Lizette Salas after all.

She lips out and gets in for bogey.

There are now five players tied for the lead. TASTY.
