A book of condolence for Belfast Giants and Guildford Flames supporters in attendance at the game tonight to sign in memory of Adam Johnson has been opened at the SSE Arena

Tonight ice hockey fans around the UK will pay their respects to #47 Adam Johnson who so tragically lost his life last weekend.

Here at the SSE Arena in Belfast a tribute video to Adam will be followed by a minute of silence and then a minute of applause.

Both coaches will lay a wreath at centre ice.

This act of remembrance will take place before all Elite League games this weekend.

The game between the Belfast Giants and Guildford Flames will face-off at 7pm
