I think Tracey Neville is changing things in light of what was happening in the first quarter. Jo Harten was drifting into a goal attack role to find space so I think Neville has decided to move Rachel Dunn up top and see if that change suits the team better.

England have not found their rhythm yet. I thought they were initially putting a lot of defensive pressure on the Australians, but there were just some crucial mistakes which allowed the Diamonds to exploit some space.

Tracey Neville has walked over to the warm up area and it’s Rachel Dunn she’s picked out to have a chat out. Serious faces on, she’s issuing her with instructions. Will we see the Wasps shooter introduced at QT?

And Dunn is out at the post shooting. Looks like that will be Neville’s first change as England’s woes in the circle continue

Three goals down is not where you want to be, but it is not the biggest lead. I don't think that the England girls will be too flustered by that scoreline.

The crowd were deafening as New Zealand beat South Africa in extra time but they’ve already managed to up it a notch as England steal the first centre. Wow.

Australia took the lead for the first time and then Jo Harten can't hold on to a pass from Helen Housby, the Diamonds punish that one.

Just over four minutes to go in this opening period.

Netball is definitely a mind game. I definitely think this one will come down to mental strength rather than physical strength.

Nat Haythornthwaite has eased into this game nicely, feeding the shooters with positive and direct passes.

We're all square again now. This one could go goal-for-goal. Are your hearts ready for that?

    Q1: England 7-5 Australia

A weird call on Caitlin Thwaites as she is called for footwork as she takes tumble.

England don't care one iota though, as they whip the ball down court with a rocket pass from Serena Guthrie.

The out pop the Inspector Gadget arms of Helen Housby to haul in a wayward pass.

    Confident start from England.

A huge cheer as Kate Maloney has no one to pass to on the Australia centre pass and England say 'thanks very much' by punishing the error with a goal.

The Roses are certainly targeting the Diamonds' centre court tactics

England defending high up the court and it pays off as the ball drifts out of play and Geva Mentor has the throw in.

Every Australian team want to stamp their authority on the game. They always want to stretch away and pile on the points to see if the opposition's heads drop.
