Well, that was breathless stuff.

The crowd were stunned into silence in the first quarter with England nervy and riddled with mistakes and New Zealand ruthless.

But they really came alive as half-time approached and the Roses took the lead for the first time in the game.

A goal on the buzzer was met with absolutely ENORMOUS screams and oh my word, that was ridiculous.

And Eboni Usoro-Brown steps up for her side! The GD gets an interception and feeds the ball down court.

And then what? A bounce pass! Bit of school netball from Jo Harten to Helen Housby to level the scores.

Ameliaranne Ekenasio slips and lands on her back. There are no New Zealand players to pick up the ball and England pick it up.

Brutal, but this is a World Cup semi-final after all.

Helen Housby scores and within seconds Jo Harten adds another. Just one goal the difference with three minutes left!

Short pass!

There wasn't enough space between Maria Folau and Gina Crampton when the WA gave her shooter the ball.

Jo Harten converts the possession into a goal.

Housby lunges out from under the post, turns and scores. The lead is at five with five minutes to go.

Jo Harten and Helen Housby have swapped positions, so Housby is playing GA.
