And quite enough for Derry fans I would imagine. Thanks very much for following our live text commentary of the Ulster Football quarter-final.

After all the positive talk from the Oak Leaf camp during the week, Derry football looks back to square one after this hammering and Damian Barton faces a monumental task in restoring morale for the long road that is the qualifiers.

Either Cavan or Armagh will surely present a tougher challenge to the Red Hands on 19 June but Tyrone's favouritism for the Ulster title will only have increased following Sunday's romp.

Next Sunday we're back for Cavan's game against Armagh at Breffni Park.

Today's match report is now available here.

  2. Harte measured after emphatic Tyrone triumphpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Mickey Harte is typically measured in his assessment of Tyrone's display, adding that "we will have to face teams who challenge us much more than we were today".

"Goals are very important in championship football and we got them in the first half. Getting the third just before half-time probably won the game for us," said the Tyrone boss.

"Maybe we were not ruthless enough in the second half but it is difficult for players to have the same enthusiasm when you are so far ahead.

"We will keep our feet on the ground - we are only in the semi-final."

Derry had no game plan and were totally clueless. They got their match-ups all wrong. They were really lucky Tyrone didn't go for the kill in the second half."

A brilliant performance by Tyrone. They had 10 different scorers. Tyrone weren't tested but they were still hugely impressive today. Colm Cavanagh and Mattie Donnelly were their stand-out performers."

  5. FULL-TIME: DERRY 0-12 3-14 TYRONEpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 22 May 2016

Tyrone complete the most conclusive of victories over their biggest rivals. The Red Hands took their foot off the pedal in the second half. This was an awful day for Derry football.

    Derry 0-12 3-14 Tyrone

Jonathan Munroe becomes the latest Tyrone scorer with McCurry adding another for good measure with a gorgeous effort from the outside of his right boot.

  7. Kielt hits fifth Derry pointpublished at 70 mins

    Derry 0-12 3-12 Tyrone.

A James Kielt point slipped through the text commentary net a few minutes ago. Meanwhile, Derry fans, those of them still at Celtic Park, are horrified to learn that there will be four minutes of additional time.

  8. Red cardpublished at 67 mins

    Derry down to 13 players

Derry are reduced to 13 players as referee David Coldrick sends off Chrissy McKaigue after the Slaughtneil man appears to elbow Colm Cavanagh. To be fair, the Tyrone midfielder didn't make a great deal of the tangle.

  9. Kielt off targetpublished at 60 mins

Just when Derry are thinking that another point, maybe followed quickly by a goal, could make it interesting, Kielt is off-target with a straight-forward free. Still eight between the sides.

  10. Another Derry pointpublished at 56 mins

    Derry 0-11 3-10 Tyrone

Mickey Harte will not be happy with his team's efforts in recent minutes. Danny Heavron slots a fourth straight Derry point but to repeat myself, it's surely too late for the Oaks.

McFaul's departure as he is handed a black card after an earlier yellow is greeted with barely a murmur at at Celtic Park. Derry down to 14 players.

Two points from Ryan Bell are followed by a score from another Derry sub Eoghan Brown. Possible comeback on cards? Don't think so.

Derry were beaten by nine points by Tyrone in the league and the difference could have been 19. I worry what the final scoreline is going to be today
