Quote MessageI gauged the conditions because they were changing all the time. When guys got past me I made sure I didn't fall too far behind. I used my head the rode smart and then I just got my head down on the last lap.

The brollies are up as riders prepare on the grid. It is dry on other parts of the 8.9-mile road circuit, so lots of thought going into which tyres to go with. There is to be a 10-minute delay with a dry spell predicted.
Race director Mervyn Whyte says the forecast is better for mid-day onwards.
Order at the top of the Supersport grid: 1) Alastair Seeley; 2) Lee Johnston; 3) Michael Dunlop; 4) Martin Jessopp; 5) Dean Harrison; 6) James Hillier
The grid is being cleared for the first race - the six-lap Supersport. England's Martin Jessopp won this class on Thursday night for his first ever win at the North West 200. And the 31-year-old went on to add victory in the Supertwins for a fantastic double.
