Armagh are playing Brendan Donaghy as their sweeper but the tactic is just not working. Down are playing down the flanks and Armagh have no answer at the moment."

  8. What are the odds?published at 13:55 British Summer Time 4 June 2017

    Down v Armagh

After three one-sided matches in this year's Ulster Championship, today's encounter at Pairc Esler could be the first closely-contested match. Certainly, that is reflected in the betting odds - the bookmakers have Armagh at evens, with Down 11-10 against.

Could this one go to a replay? If you fancy a flutter on a draw in Newry you'll get 15-2.

    Down v Armagh (throw-in 14:00 BST)

The Ulster Championship bandwagon rolls into Newry today for a keenly-anticipated last eight clash between Down and Armagh.

Down manager Eamon Burns says this is a mouth-watering tie which is likely go to down to the wire, so let's hope for a thriller at Pairc Esler.

"There will be a kick of the ball in it," says Burns.

Radio Ulster has commentary on the big game with commentator Owen McConnon joined by Enda McGinley who won three All-Irelands with Tyrone.
