  3. 'Still work to do' - Bonnerpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2020

    Donegal 1-22 Armagh 0-13

Victorious Donegal boss Declan Bonner tells Sky Sports that his side produced a 'professional' performance to see off Armagh, but warns that they still have 'work to do' as they prepare for the Ulster Championship decider on 22 November.

    Quote Message

We went about our business in a really professional manner. We laid the foundations in the first half and some of our play was really good. We're delighted to get over the line and into another Ulster final. Peadar's goal before half-time was a big goal for us and deflated Armagh. In the second half, we always kept them at arm's length but we still have work to do as we head into the final.

  4. Goalscorer Mogan delighted to overcome Armagh testpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 14 November 2020

    Donegal 1-22 Armagh 0-13

Speaking to Sky Sports, Donegal goalscorer Peadar Mogan - who was named man of the match - said the reigning Ulster champions tried to 'control' the game in the second half after establishing a commanding 12-point lead at the break.

    Quote Message

It's good to get the win. Any day you go out and win an Ulster semi-final, especially in these conditions, it's great. Hopefully, it can give the people of Donegal another boost in these tough times. There was a big wind and we used that to our advantage, the second half was all about trying to control the game and limit them as much as we could. We knew they were going to get scores so we just tried to tick over as many scores as possible.

    Donegal 1-22 Armagh 0-13

Well, it wasn't the most thrilling Ulster Championship semi-final from the neutral's perspective.

Donegal won't care, though. A dominant display at Breffni Park eases them past Armagh 1-22 to 0-13 to book their spot in the Ulster final, with Peadar Mogan's first-half goal the highlight.

Declan Bonner's men will take some beating in the final. They looked hugely impressive across the pitch this afternoon.

It's a ninth Ulster final in 10 years for the Tir Chonaill men and the chance to clinch a hat-trick of provincial titles.
